If you want to stay inside Hongcun, this is a great place to stay. The rooms were clean and the owners are very kind and helpful. The house has a beautiful little garden and they have the cutest pets.

Not the cleanest room I have stayed before because of the damp smell maybe from the high humidity in the surrounding area. Cleanliness is acceptable, it is not dirty. The room, toilet, Bed and pillow is clean. Owner is also very attentive and kind. When we reach the bus station, the owner actually arrange to help us carry our luggage and fetch us till the west entrance of hongcun. From there we walked to the hotel which is very near. The alley into the hotel is very beautiful. One of the prettiest alley in hongcun.

Our host was the kindest person. She picked us up when we arrived at the village and helped us with everything we needed. The room was very cozy and clean and in general, the atmosphere at the homestay was very welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

Owners are very kind , friendly and helpful 😍. I booked villa for our family and the house is quite big (3bedrooms). The attic room super warm ( -4 when I visited ) but very dirty under the bed. The location is near to the gate. At the owner house has 2cat(mimi1 and mimi2) and 1dog(xiaobai).
Owner help us to booked the car to Huangshan. (if you want to book the car for pick up from airport or train station please contact hotel directly the price will be cheaper than transport service at there ALOT!!!)

The Homestay is located not far from two of the entrances to the village of Hongcun, and one of the owners came and picked us up at the gates, and offered to carry our luggage. The house is very real, they have three lovely pets and are extremely welcoming and helpful. I speak a little Chinese so communication was fairly easy, but with the translation apps I guess it would be as easy. The owner was kind to explain a couple of things about the village and to give us helpful informations on our trip to Huangshan of the following day. She even made a phone call to ensure we could buy tickets at the departure of the cable cars. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is what we were looking for. Kindness and true people, and a charming room facing an extremely quiet (the village is loud of tourist shops) inner yard

Absolutely fantastic place! The host is an extremely kind woman and helped us find our way around and cooks delicious dumplings. The location couldn't be better as it's just off the main road but secluded in a charming alley. Our room was very clean and gave an authentic ancient Chinese feel. Aircon and internet were very nice to have. I can recommend everyone to stay here a few days when visiting Hongcun, Xidi and climb the Yellow Mountain!
