We totally recommend this hotel. It's in a beautiful old building, very well preserved and refurbished, and in a great location: in the Xidi old town, but a little bit more isolated, in the more quiet and less touristy area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish, it even had a tiny annexed studio room with desk and interesting books with a good kettle and tea set available. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a very nice bathtub and heated toilet. Our host was super nice and helpful, he came to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. He's really friendly and gave us some nice tips on visiting the surrounding villages. He has a very cute dog and a cuddly cat :) Only negative comment: the room's window is on the side of the main road, so you can hear all the cars passing by. But even then, a great stay!

A wonderful experience! The secluded courtyard in Xidi Ancient Town was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. Even though the ancient town was very crowded during the Qingming Festival holiday, the courtyard remained quiet, comfortable, and undisturbed. The rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable, and there was even a tea room for tea tasting. Perfect for families, small gatherings, or with friends!

We booked this guesthouse in Xidi to experience the festive atmosphere during the Chinese New Year. The owner was very kind and told us in advance to park in parking lot number 7, which was closer to his house, and he would personally pick us up and drop us off. The fireworks and fish lanterns in Xidi are definitely worth seeing.

The room was cozy and unique. The duplex was perfect for a family trip, and the price was very reasonable. The owner was very welcoming and even offered special tea and snacks. We also visited Hongcun, but I preferred the atmosphere of Xidi. A morning stroll along the fields was beautiful; time seemed to slow down.

We chose this guesthouse for a weekend trip with the kids. They offer hands-on wood carving activities for children, and the sweet fragrance in the air is reminiscent of imported osmanthus black tea. The courtyard is incredibly photogenic. It's a very clean courtyard; it would be even better for swimming in the summer. We caught the lantern festival in Xidi, which was incredibly lively. The lighting of the distant mountains was stunning. We'll definitely bring our kids here again when the owner starts offering family winter or summer camps.

I absolutely loved the Moonlit White room! It felt like I could wake up to sunshine right away! The room was so comfortable, and I loved opening the window to see the view. The weather's been great these past few days, and I think autumn is a perfect time to visit Xidi! The handsome guy mentioned there are daily activities during the National Day holiday; I wish I'd come a few days later. But I think this is a place I'd definitely come back to next year. Just thinking about going to that huge swimming pool in the summer sounds amazing! Oh, and the handsome guy had such a lovely voice! I heard it when he called to book the room!

The housekeeper was incredibly welcoming, making the entire check-in process pleasant and reassuring. He helped us with our luggage and escorted us to our room, which was elegantly furnished and impeccably clean. The price was also very reasonable. The service and the housekeeper's enthusiasm far exceeded our expectations, making it extremely good value for money. Overall, this guesthouse left a very deep impression on me, and I was extremely satisfied. I would definitely choose it again for my next trip!

A very satisfying stay! The owner was incredibly hospitable, always ready to answer our questions and help us with anything. They even gave us directions on how to get around. On our first day, the owner picked us up from the bus stop and took us to the Hongcun bus station after check-in. They also turned on the heating in our room before we arrived. The room was clean and tidy, the loft design was a hit with the kids, the pool in the courtyard was fantastic, and the hotel was easy to find! Thumbs up to the thoughtful owner! 👍👍
