I specifically came to Hualuxe for a two-day retreat to escape the city's hustle and bustle, and it was full of delightful surprises. My butler, Siri, thoughtfully shared travel tips. The bathtub in the room faced the confluence of the three rivers, and soaking in it while watching the sunset in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The public areas featured elegant Chinese landscaping, and the jasmine cold brew tea in the lobby was fragrant and refreshing. Housekeeping was prompt with replenishment, and the service had just the right touch – attentive without being intrusive. This is my top choice for a healing short getaway.

Great experience! I absolutely love the unique oriental ambiance of Hualuxe. The lobby design beautifully incorporates elements of bamboo forests and rivers, creating a warm and elegant aesthetic. The room I stayed in was lovely. Housekeeping was meticulous, the bedding was soft, and the Chinese tea set was a thoughtful touch. The butler, Siri, provided attentive service with just the right amount of discretion, never being overly intrusive. The burning noodles for breakfast were authentic and delicious. It was a perfect and truly rejuvenating stay.

True to its InterContinental brand, the hotel boasts an excellent location with stunning views of the three rivers converging right from the window. We were upgraded to a higher floor upon check-in, and the view was absolutely incredible. The complimentary late-night snacks were a hit with my child. The pool on the 5th floor was clean and uncrowded, and it even came with a steam room – a fantastic bonus. It's open until 10:30 PM, which was perfect; the kids could swim until they were tired and then head straight to bed. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Not only did it feature InterContinental's quality pastries and cakes, but it also offered local Yibin specialty snacks, satisfying both the elderly and children alike! 👍

Traveling to Yibin, the most pleasant surprise was the warm and thoughtful service from our butler, Siri. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offered direct views of the Yangtze River and the city skyline. In the evening, the gentle breeze from the river and the city lights were truly captivating. The room itself had an open layout with a well-designed wet and dry separation in the bathroom, and the facilities were excellent. The overall new Chinese elegant style, with meticulous attention to detail, created a wonderful ambiance. The breakfast selection was rich and featured plenty of local flavors. All the fatigue from my journey slowly melted away here.

A short stay in Yibin yielded a wonderfully pleasant accommodation experience. Housekeeper Siri provided excellent service, and the room was clean, bright, and well-maintained with no signs of age. The service was genuine and attentive, showing great care in the details. Opening the window revealed stunning views of the Yangtze River, and the sunset created an incredible ambiance. There's no need to rush to tourist spots; the hotel itself offers a beautiful travel experience.

Authentic Leshan tofu pudding and Yibin 'burning noodles' (ran mian) had genuine local flavor. They truly catered to both Western and Chinese tastes with a wide variety of delicious options. The overall environment was clean and comfortable, and the service was meticulous. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yibin.

Everything about this hotel was okay, nothing really stood out, but there were no major issues either. It's pretty much what you'd expect from a typical Hualuxe. It's not in the city center, but getting around by taxi is quite convenient, and Yibin itself is a really pleasant city.
