My stay at Hotel Royal Chiaohsi was exceptional, leaving a lasting impression with its impeccable service and environment. The buffet at Yun Tian offered an exquisite and diverse selection of dishes that truly satisfied my palate. Soaking in the open-air hot spring while gazing at the beautiful Lanyang Plain was incredibly relaxing for both my body and mind. What truly stood out was the staff's professional yet warm demeanor; every detail reflected the hospitality spirit of a top-tier hotel. Both the facilities and the service are first-class, making it the perfect choice for a relaxing getaway. It's definitely a place worth revisiting multiple times!

We stayed in the Japanese-style mountain view room. The mattress was a bit thin and firm, so it took some getting used to. However, the view from the window was excellent, and we could even catch glimpses of the Lanyang Plain night view from the side of the balcony. This was a one-night, two-meal package. Dinner was at the Yuntian buffet, which offered a wide and delicious selection. The next day, we chose the brunch at Yanboting, which allowed us to sleep in and then head to the meal at our leisure – very relaxing. The brunch was a set menu, but it was very filling. The outdoor hot spring area had an essential oil pool, a fish spa (for pedicures!), and an outdoor swimming pool. The kids had a blast. Overall, it was a happy and comfortable trip.

We chose a room with a view of the Lanyang Plain, and the suite was very comfortable, and it was loaded with surprises and amenities. The scenery was lovely, and we even caught the sunrise over Turtle Island in the morning. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we could feel the staff’s professionalism and genuine care. If time allows, we’d love to come back again. The only downside was the dinner buffet—not very tasty, especially the grilled beef, which was so tough it couldn’t be chewed. Such a pity, but overall, the experience was very good.

the hot spring is great (the ones for female and male separately ; the room is excellent.. however, the buffet quality is somehow disappointing. i barely found anything that i could finish or wanted 2nd round - especially the meat/seafood dish.. even the quality of fruits also deteriorated. for future, i would not stay at hotel. will just get the hot spring coupons for hot spring (onsen) only. not worthy to spend almost $400 a night with the food quality

Warm welcome by the hotel staffs, pleasant tour n explanation on hotel facilities n directions. Dinner buffet was very nice and staff were nice too. Night hot spa was fantastic! Room concept is good! Will come back again

Though the location is a bit inconvenient and there's no convenient shop nearby, it really served as a getaway from the city. The room is a bit small, especially the toilet, but the view is marvellous. As for the buffet, it's decent but not much changes for the 3d2n stay. There's diy workshop and evening performances to keep you accompanied for the day. In addition, the open-air hot spring bath is a must to go.

The hotel is attempting to portray itaelf as a 5 star hotel, but it doesnt quite live uo to that standard. while they may be offering upscale amenties and a polished exterior, the overall experience feels lacking in the finer details that typically define a true 5 star hotel. It feels more like a 4 star property rather than a true 5 star experience

Everything they supplied but missing Iron. Buffet is great lots of variety but taste are so so.

It is a wonderful hotel which all the staff are helpful and friendly. Music performances every night in the lobby are with very high standard and my family really enjoyed the stay there in this hotel. We will definitely visit and stay in this hotel again next time.

Room is great, buffet breakfast and dinner are good. Upgraded one buffet dinner to have it at Zen Garden and we loved it. Two nights was not enough for us to enjoy the hotel, will definitely go back again.
