Kavalan Hotel

1. The parking is a mechanical system, which makes parking and retrieving your car a bit inconvenient as you need staff assistance. 2. The room's air conditioning seems to be central, it was too cold and I wasn't sure how to control it. 3. The room had an odd smell, I can't quite pinpoint it, but it became less noticeable after turning on the air conditioning. 4. The breakfast was good and offered great value for money. 5. Guests get free access to the kids' facilities, which span three floors – it's fantastic and the children loved it!

This is already my second time booking here! My first stay was so great that I decided this would be my go-to place whenever I visit Yilan. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a room on one occasion before this, so this is technically my second successful booking! The staff are incredibly proactive and enthusiastic! They even offered thoughtful little services that we hadn't even considered. And the location? Well, that's a given – it's excellent, right next to Luodong Night Market and convenient to the Luodong Interchange on National Freeway 5!

Close to the night market, and there's a convenience store right across the street. Super convenient!

The hotel is very close to Luodong Night Market. The room and bed are large and very comfortable.

This hotel is wonderfully rustic. The parking lot is quite interesting too, and the location is convenient. Breakfast was healthy and plentiful.

The location is perfect, right next to Luodong Night Market, and there's a police station nearby so it feels very safe. There's a convenience store right across the street and it's close to the train station too. The room was larger than typical hotel rooms, and everything was neat and clean. The bed and bedding were really comfortable. The breakfast was a bit uninspired, and they started clearing up promptly at 9:30 AM, which feels early considering McDonald's serves breakfast until 10:30 AM. Just something to keep in mind.

The male night shift front desk staff member spoke in a way that made me uncomfortable. The low-floor room quality was mediocre, and the toilet flush wasn't working properly. This used to be my go-to hotel when visiting Yilan, but after this experience, I won't be booking here again.

The room isn't big, and the furnishings are simple but quite clean. I've stayed in many hotels, and if a place is just average, I usually don't bother leaving a review. But what I found outrageous about the Loki Hotel is... For a weekend night costing over 4,000 NTD, the breakfast remarkably didn't even have fresh milk or soy milk! The breakfast selection was already very basic, but to not even have fundamental items like milk, soy milk, or even boiled eggs, was truly surprising. All in all, this was the most disappointing aspect of my stay at this hotel!
