The hotel front desk staff were excellent and gave a detailed introduction to the hotel. The towels and ice I requested were also delivered to the room very quickly. The only minor issues were that there was only one power outlet next to the bed and the shampoo and body wash being combined in the shower was a bit odd. Otherwise, everything was great, especially the hot tub which was a super spacious 2 meters!

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were kind, making for a pleasant stay. Besides the hot spring in the room, the public bath with a sauna and cold plunge pool was also a great feature.

My first stay at Yamagata Hotel was fantastic. The two security guards at the entrance were incredibly friendly and welcoming, instantly putting me at ease and lifting my spirits. From the front desk staff to the restaurant servers, housekeeping, and cleaning crew, you could truly feel the meticulous and thoughtful service throughout Yamagata Hotel. The mini-bar and snacks in the room were all complimentary, which was a very generous touch! The hot spring bathtub in every room is huge and incredibly comfortable to soak in – you don't even need to leave the room! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality accommodation experience. It's definitely worth a return visit.

The hotel staff at breakfast are friendly and helpful. You can select from a menu for hotel breakfast and you can also go to the buffet breakfast. You can enjoy the hot spring bath in your room or in the big public bath in the hotel.

The environment was clean, facilities complete, and the in-room hot spring bath was absolutely fantastic! This stay was very satisfying! The room was spacious, and the biggest surprise was the private, extra-large balcony with an open view. Sitting outside and enjoying the breeze was very comfortable. The hot spring tub in the room was well-designed, with a strong water flow, making for a truly enjoyable soak. The room also came equipped with a dehumidifier, which was a nice touch. For breakfast, they even had high-quality steak (a must-order!), and the meat was very tender. Overall, the hygiene was excellent, and it offered great value for money. Highly recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely a must stay hotel. Clean and comfortable. The only downside would be the breakfast. Although you have multiple choices of set meal, only Japaneses style is tasty and delicious.

Clean and tidy room with isolated hot spring bathroom. Polite and nice staff. Clear introduction and warm attitude. Overall it’s very cozy for all travellers!

The environment is comfortable, and the service is friendly. The private hot tub in the room is great, big enough for one person to lie down with room to spare, and it's very clean. The breakfast dining atmosphere is lovely, and the handmade DIY Christmas light was adorable.

The hotel was near a bus terminal so was so convenient for us to walk to the hotel. What I loved the most was the spring water.. the bath filled with spring water was the best feeling ever, a must try!

Arrived a bit early and we requested to use their onsen facilities and their staff allowed us to use it..enjoyed the onsen very much as the weather is perfect for soaking in 40degree water. Room is excellent and we enjoyed the breakfast too 

It's one of the more expensive hotels in the area. But the friendly service and the rooms made up for it. It is a few minute walk to the nearest train station, Jiaoxi and the bus transfer station.

The hotel was very clean and the staffs were very friendly. Breakfast was good but could have more variety or change breakfast sets for people who stayed longer. Overall, a very good hotel with good location and walking distance to good food and bakeries.

The room is spacious and I enjoy the spa service very much. The handcraft DIY workshop was a wax candle.

Excellent service, the rooms were spotless and tidy, food was good, and the views were also great.
