Hotels in Yogyakarta with Swimming Pools

We stayed on 14 - 16 february and booked our room with Agoda and the room was a good size, the hotel is beautiful and has all the amenities, so we applaud their environment. The front desk staff were very nice. Especially Heru, who arranged our trips and acted our tour driver . He took us trip to Borobudur , mount Merapi and Prambanan because on as we were not familiar with Yogyakarta. he also helped us to contact and book hotel at bromo , very patient and enthusiastic, emphasized all the details. It was a great pleasure to meet Heru.

It's an upscale hotel. The staff are very welcoming and nice of them to upgrade us to Deluxe Premiere Double room. Bed is very comfortable and air conditioning is good (esp. for the hot weather). Cleanliness can be improved (eg toilet). Our room is right in front of the lift but we were not being disturbed by noises. Breakfast spread is good! Quite a few eateries around the hotel. Otherwise, taking Grab taxi to places is convenient and reasonable fares.

This is a fancy place in a historical building in walking distance from the historical city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cuisine is excellent and the breakfast buffet wowed us. Food is served i.a. on an inner court, which is peaceful and quiet, away from the street noise. The pool, lays protected, and doesn’t have direct sunlight as of noon, which comes handy since these are the tropics. 

The receptionist did not explain regarding check in procedure and took my passport and share with Archipelago International and thick the boxes on my behalf. We have brought the matter up to the management. During breakfast the staff took our photos without our permission while we were eating. Kindly look into this matter. Do not take for granted on the privacy of guests.

So the hotel lobby is very nice and inviting, and the rooms are modern and extremely clean. We opted for the upgraded room which I felt for the few dollars spent, was well worth it. The breakfast is amazing, with literally hundreds of choices and a fruit stand with mangosteen and other exotic fruits. ” Full on” Western, Asian and Indonesian breakfast choices. Bed and linens were comfortable. English is not well spoken or understood by most of the staff, although we eventually found someone that could communicate with us. The only complaint I had was that, in preparation for New Year's Eve festivities, they allowed a contractor to assemble from scratch--along with the accompanied drilling/banging/sawing--a group of wooden caricatures. We sat down to have dinner in the hotel restaurant but couldn't because of the loud noises the contractor was making far across the opposite end of the lobby. When we brought this disturbance to the attendant, who apologized but said nothing to the contractor. So we ended up NOT eating in the hotel restaurant and leaving. The contractor had his electric saws on the lobby furniture, and was using other lobby chairs at a sawhorse. Comical, yet simply baffling.

The hotel is near to the Train Station, but the window sound proofing is poor. We cannot sleep the whole night, due to constant beeping sound of the train preparing to leave. It is a sharp beeping sound that goes on the whole night. Even when it stop, you can still hear it play back in your mind. Our facing is facing their pool, and sound from the pool, even conversation at wee hours of the night can be heard in our room. Service Personnel are helpful and nice

Jogja is one of my favorite destination. You can meet warm and nice people, great culture and seems like the time really slowing down. The Atrium Hotel & Resort When you enter the gate, you already feel comfort and homy. All workers there will give you sincere smile and ready to help you. The room also look warm, comfort and clean. It provide basic need for that kind of room. (thank you for room decoration set up) This hotel also provide nice swimming pool and fitness center, great taste iftar and sahur. Either you only stay at hotel all day or you go around Jogja, or you on holiday or in business travel, this hotel will welcome you and comfort you. Thank you for Mr,Andy and team.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was a pleasant experience. It was very convenient to access various attractions and it made getting around the city a breeze. Close to Everything: One of the major advantages of this hotel is its proximity to popular landmarks, restaurants, and shopping areas. It was incredibly convenient to have everything within walking distance. Accommodating Room Requests: I was pleased with how well the hotel fulfilled my room preferences. The staff was attentive and made sure that my requested room type was available, ensuring a comfortable stay. Friendly Staff: The hotel staff members were incredibly warm and friendly. They greeted me with a smile and were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Their helpful and welcoming attitude truly added to the positive experience. Areas for Improvement: Breakfast Variety: While the breakfast served was decent, I felt that there could have been more variety in the menu. It would be great if the hotel could offer a wider selection of options to cater to different tastes and preferences. In conclusion, this hotel offers a great location in the center of the city, making it convenient to explore the surroundings. The staff's friendly demeanor and their ability to fulfill room requests were definite highlights of my stay. With a little more attention to breakfast variety, this hotel has the potential to provide an even more enjoyable experience for its guests

We booked the Melia Purosani directly through their website for a number of stays as it provided a good value price which included a 10-minute massage per room booking, a discount on food, and a room upgrade. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a ”Level” room on the sixth floor which came with Level Lounge privileges including afternoon tea. Having re-booked for three separate nights our expectations were that we would receive the same benefits. It seems our first stay involved a better-than-usual upgrade and we were very embarrassed to be turned away from the Level Lounge on our next stay - despite being in a Level Lounge room. Live and learn! The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are well-presented. Reception staff is courteous and helpful, and so too was the concierge at the Level Lounge who ”righted” the embarrassing situation we faced. The gardens and pool area are tropical, leafy, and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was adequate, but not super fast/ The property is within easy walking distance of Jalan Malioboro and other local attractions. I have rated the hotel's less-than-excellent restaurant El Patio separately. Truth be told, service and afternoon tea in the Level Lounge was superior to the restaurant.

So happy to back to this lovely city. Zest Hotel is always being my top priority when visit this special city. The location is very strategic, nearby city, Malioboro, Lempuyangan station etc. Zest Hotel will be your perfect accommodation choice during stay in this city. I was greet by Chacha, Rindi, and Aditya that assist during check in time. They were awesome, understand and know how to make the customer feels like home. Putra also give very quick service when i asking to deliver something to my room. The restaurant was good as always, Eka greet me with warm smile. Well, this is not my first stay at this hotel. And definitely so happy to stay again. The room was good, clean, and tidy. The Room Attendant have great hospitality. On this occasion was so special, since i went with my wife. The service was beyond my imagination, since they give us a memorable surprise in the room. Well we are not asking any special arrangement during reservation, but they did it. So touchfull ;-) Thank you Zest for always being my second home in Jogja and make our vacation more and more than happy ^_^
