Daiwa Roynet Hotel Yokohama-Koen

The hotel boasts a great location with convenient transportation. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it very easy to get around and explore. The room was clean and tidy with complete amenities, ensuring a comfortable overall stay. The service was also quite attentive, and it offers good value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Yokohama.

This hotel chain is generally good. The location is a bit far from the subway, but it's accessible via different lines. You can use either the Nihon-odori or Kannai stations, both about a 5-8 minute walk away. Chinatown is also within walking distance. There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs and a newly opened [brand name, assuming '巴塔' is a transliteration like Bata for a shoe store, or if it's a specific local store name, it should be kept or explained] nearby.

Atmosphere: The hotel is very new and exceptionally clean. I love the stepless dimmer lights in the room, and the windows can be opened. The central air conditioning is also very quiet, which is a big plus. Cleanliness: Everything was extremely clean, from the lobby and hallways to the room itself, including the bedding and bathroom. Facilities: Self-check-in and check-out are super convenient. The public laundry room is also great; you can wash and dry your clothes in the same machine without having to transfer them. Service: The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was quite tasty.

Overall, it's okay, but the value for money on weekends isn't great. Since it's right next to Yokohama Arena and we checked in on a Friday and Saturday, there were loud events every day, and it was much more expensive than usual. So, tourists might want to avoid staying here on weekends. The value for money is just average; it might be better during the week. Also, we experienced an earthquake during our stay; the tremors were noticeable, but the building held up very well.

I've stayed at this hotel brand before in Kyoto, and it was excellent. The room was quite spacious and clean. There's a supermarket right downstairs, which is convenient for shopping, and the subway is very close by, making it easy to get to tourist spots.

The room size is decent, and the environment is quite good, making for a comfortable stay. It's close to Chinatown, and there's a Lawson convenience store downstairs, which is very convenient for getting food.

I first stayed for two nights, then went to Izu for two days, and came back for another three nights – I was very satisfied. The first time I checked out, the gentleman who assisted me was very kind and helped me reserve a corner room, which was great because it has large windows on two sides! The second time, a lovely lady helped me check in; she was also very gentle and spoke excellent English. The hotel is very close to Yokohama Park, Yokohama Stadium (where I even got to experience the excitement of a baseball game!), Kannai Station, and Chinatown. It's very clean, and having a Lawson convenience store downstairs made it easy to grab supplies. Extremely satisfied!
