JR-EAST HOTEL METS YOKOHAMA

Booked this hotel for a business trip. It's super convenient, just a 3-minute walk from the Northwest Exit of Yokohama Station. The facilities are great, and in the lobby, they have complimentary skincare products and toiletries you can take as needed, plus a self-service coffee machine ☕. Breakfast is served at the shop next door, and it was really good! I especially loved their pudding 🍮, salad 🥗, and corn 🌽 chowder.

I had a 17-hour layover in Yokohama on my way to Washington, so I decided to spend a night here. The location is excellent! From Yokohama Station's NEWoMan building, you just follow the signs on the second-floor concourse, and it leads straight to the hotel – about a 6-7 minute walk after exiting the station. If you don't want to walk through the mall, after exiting Yokohama Station, look for the North Exit first, then the Northwest Exit; this also connects directly to the concourse, so you're sheltered from any weather. I chose a room with breakfast, which was pretty standard but perfectly fine for filling up. They had a great selection of amenities, very comprehensive. And with my Trip.com points, the price was an absolute steal!

This hotel is a ten-minute walk from Yokohama Station West Exit, which is a great location. The rooms are clean and tidy. Downstairs, there's a supermarket with a full range of groceries, so you can easily make your own breakfast. We went to Mount Fuji for four days in the middle of our trip, and since we booked this hotel for both before and after, they kindly stored our luggage for free while we were away, so we just had to take our backpacks. That was incredibly convenient.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, everything was great except for the slightly small room size. The lobby offered Pola toiletries, a free coffee machine, and an ice maker. There's also a laundry room. Self-service check-in and check-out are available. Below the hotel, there's a large supermarket, and you can directly access the subway hub from the lobby via a connecting corridor without even having to go downstairs – super convenient!

When I first arrived in Yokohama, I wasn't familiar with the area, so it took me a while to find the hotel. But once I figured out how to get to the station, I realized the location is quite convenient. The room size was decent, clean, and tidy. I really appreciated the self-service amenity bar next to the front desk. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
