The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu

This hotel deserves a full 5-star rating! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right above the Minatomirai subway station. It's just a 5-minute walk to Minatomirai, shopping malls, and Queen's Square, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. You can directly access Queen's Square from the second floor. The outdoor goods store in Queen's Square is huge and offers great value, definitely don't miss it. The room was the most spacious I've stayed in Japan; you could easily spread out 3-4 suitcases. The bed was a generous 2 meters wide, comfortable enough for two adults and one child. The bathroom was excellent, with a great wet/dry separation, and the toiletries were super comprehensive. However, the hairdryer was a bit noisy. The balcony offers a stunning view of Yokohama's nightscape, and you can even see the Ferris wheel. Enjoying a drink on the balcony every day while taking in the view completely justified the room rate. The hotel service was thoughtful; they allowed us to check in half an hour early and even provided a steam iron in the room beforehand. My only minor drawbacks: rooms on the balcony side can be noisy from motorcycles below, so light sleepers should be aware. I didn't experience the hotel breakfast as it was a bit pricey, but you can dine at the coffee shop on B3.

The location is fantastic and very convenient, directly connected to a shopping mall and the subway station, with a direct airport limousine bus. The room is spacious enough and the pricing is very reasonable. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Traveling with the whole family, we booked two adjacent rooms. However, on the first night, around 3 AM, our child woke up itching with several bites. We're not sure what bit them.

The hotel's location is very convenient, connected to a shopping mall with plenty of shops and restaurants. Getting around is easy, mostly on foot. However, check-in is strictly after 3 PM, though they do offer luggage storage. The front desk staff were plentiful, proactive, and enthusiastic. The room was very spacious with a great view. The balcony's glass door provided decent soundproofing, but you could still hear motorcycles at night. Breakfast was a generous buffet with a wide variety of Japanese and Western options, all of high quality. The bus to Haneda Airport picks up right in front of the hotel, which is super convenient. Overall, I was very satisfied.

I booked a high-floor bay view room on the 21st floor, and the views are incredible, overlooking Minatomirai Bay. There's an amusement park right below, and the night view is stunning. The room itself is spacious enough, with comfortable bedding and ample space. The toiletries are a local brand, and the bathroom features a separate wet and dry area. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Red Brick Warehouse and close to several other attractions. They also offer a shuttle bus service to Haneda Airport, running approximately every 40 minutes, and if you miss it, public transport is also very convenient.

Everything was excellent, and the views were absolutely stunning. The hotel's direct connection to the Minatomirai Line makes getting around incredibly convenient! The only minor issue was the internet, which was quite slow and laggy. Other than that, the experience was great, and I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Satisfied, satisfied, satisfied! The location is excellent, with a Ferris wheel right outside the balcony. There are also many shopping malls nearby, perfect for a stroll. The room was quiet, clean, and spacious. Highly recommended!

This hotel is incredibly convenient! Minatomirai Station is right downstairs, and across the street is the amusement park under the ferris wheel. Yokohama Minatomirai is truly delightful; no need for a hectic schedule. It's so relaxing to just sit on the balcony and daydream, or wander around the harbor. The room is spacious, which is a real luxury in Japan! We didn't book breakfast, but there are plenty of breakfast spots in the two shopping malls downstairs, and a large supermarket next door for supplies. You can also book an airport shuttle directly from the first floor. Highly recommend this Yokohama accommodation!
