New Otani Inn Yokohama Premium Reviews

I've stayed at this hotel many times. This time, however, the service wasn't great, especially at the front desk. I booked a room with breakfast and dinner. I had other plans, so I wanted to cancel dinner. I informed the front desk a day in advance, but they weren't able to help me with that.

Prime location with lovely few of Yokohama. Comfortable for family of 4 with big luggages. Has a 7-11 downstairs which is great for grabbing a quick bite late night.

This hotel is incredibly convenient, located right above the JR station and connected to a shopping mall with stores like Uniqlo and Muji. There's a grocery store on the basement level with super affordable sashimi and sushi. You can easily walk to the Red Brick Warehouse and Yamashita Park by the sea, making for a pleasant evening stroll. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, everything is delicious. Each floor has an ice machine and vending machines. For a hotel in Japan at this price point, the rooms are quite spacious, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's super easy to get to places like Kamakura, Odawara, or even Tokyo from here, and all the main attractions in Yokohama itself are within walking distance. Compared to the InterContinental I stayed at last time I was in Yokohama, this place offers so much more value for money; the InterContinental was triple the price for one night! It's also more cost-effective than staying in Tokyo, where hotels generally offer even less value. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location right next to the JR station is fantastic, and there's a shopping mall downstairs, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. It's also about a 10-minute walk to Sogo, and you get incredible ocean views from the higher floors. Excellent value for money!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The facilities were excellent, from the relaxing atmosphere in the common areas to the well-maintained amenities. Everything felt modern and thoughtfully designed. I was also very impressed with the food — delicious, fresh, and with a good variety of options to choose from. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to friends and family.

The hotel is incredibly close to the train station. The rooms are spacious, and the ocean-view rooms offer a fantastic panorama, especially at night when the view outside the window is simply stunning – like something out of a movie, a true visual feast! The breakfast is high quality with a rich variety of options, including both Western and Japanese styles, and the food is excellent. You can easily walk to popular Yokohama attractions from the hotel, and there's a bus stop downstairs for trips to Chinatown.

The hotel is located right above a large shopping mall. It's incredibly convenient for shopping as the mall has stores like Muji and Uniqlo. There's also a big supermarket, which is great if you arrive late and want to grab some snacks. Plus, there's a cinema inside the mall if you fancy catching a movie. There's a direct entrance from the third floor of the mall, next to Honeys, that leads straight to the hotel lobby. However, this entrance is only open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. For Japan, the room size is actually quite decent, not small at all. The toiletries provided are also very good. My only observation is that in the evenings, most of the staff, including the housekeeping team, seem to be from Southeast Asia. Also, the room lighting is quite dim; even with all the lights on, the room still feels a bit dark.

This is a perfect central spot in Yokohama. Amazing place for any kind of trip, whether it's a couple's getaway, friend's escape, or business trip. Amazing views from the hotel with lots of restaurant options nearby, theme park, mall, and 3 minute walk from the train station. Amazing customer service with 24/7 response time. The -0.3 is subtracted because of the nuisance of having amenities scattered across the hotel. Microwave on 10th floor, laundry room on another, and must request for clothes iron from staff. Would definitely book again 9.7/10 !

Very close to the station, about a five-minute walk. The room was spacious and very clean, with a full set of toiletries provided. You can also pick up additional amenities from the front desk lobby. Each floor has an ice machine and a water dispenser for refilling bottles.

I came to Yokohama for T.O.P fanmeeting held in PIA Arena MM. This hotel near venue (walking distance). I booked a room with bay view and it has fantastic view, especially night view. Walking distance to Yokohama air cabin, mall, station. Near Yokohama attractions.

I’m stay for 2 nights at city side room, The location was really convenient train station and landmark at Naka ward, Yokohama city. Convenient and Department store under the hotel, good service, amenties, breakfast, free water and ice. Next time you(me) want to Yokohama should stay here.
