Hotel Plumm

A simple hotel in Yokohama, about a 10-minute walk from the station, ideal for taking the Fuji-Q bus as it's very close to bus stop 22 at Yokohama Station West Exit. The hotel has all the basic amenities, but as is common, the rooms are quite small. You can barely open two suitcases. It's not facing the street, so it's very quiet.

The location is a bit far from the station. One issue with the service is that the large public bath requires a new PIN every day, which the front desk didn't specifically mention at check-in. The room was spacious and comfortable. As is standard for Japanese hotels, cleanliness was excellent, even for an older establishment. The water in the public bath was very clean.

The room was a bit small, but perfectly adequate for two people, and we could even open up two suitcases. The hotel facilities were also good. It's about a 15-minute walk from Yokohama Station, and there's a 24-hour Don Quijote and an OS Drugstore nearby, which was really convenient for shopping.

Loved this hotel! It was super nice, and the room was even bigger than the last time I stayed. The lobby is very grand and has a lovely, subtle essential oil fragrance. The bathhouse on B1 was a great bonus, and the hairdryer was surprisingly good. There's a 7-Eleven right outside, and a large mall and supermarket are just a short walk away. Yokohama Station is also just a few steps further, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. I stayed for 6 days and was extremely satisfied.

The hotel service was excellent, and the room was cleaned thoroughly every day. They even provided two complimentary bottles of mineral water daily, which was a nice touch. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay. There's also a large public bath downstairs, but unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to try it out.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. The only downside is that it's about a seven to eight-minute walk from Yokohama West Exit. So, if you don't mind the walk, it's highly recommended. The bathrooms in the rooms have been renovated, and there's a newly refurbished large public bath in the basement, which is very convenient to use. Especially in the twin rooms, you can easily open two 28-inch suitcases at the same time. The surrounding area is also very convenient with plenty of dining and shopping options.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Yokohama Station. After checking in at the front desk, you can pick up toiletries yourself. They also gave me a free pass to the large public bath on the basement floor, but I'm not really comfortable bathing with a group of people. It's very close to Takashimaya and the Yokohama Station shopping area, and there are lots of dining options nearby!
