Hyakumangoku Onsen Hotel

I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and while I could feel the staff's efforts, the experience was truly, truly terrible. This Beidahu scenic area where the hotel is located is just not good. The hotel itself also seems to be disliked by the scenic area and other hotels, which led to guests like us getting caught in the crossfire. Firstly, on the day we checked in, we took a taxi to the hotel. The scenic area was preparing for a music festival. When we reached a checkpoint a few hundred meters from the hotel, the scenic area security guard wouldn't let us pass, saying the road was under repair and blocked. They told us to figure out our own way to bypass the road to the hotel. Then, just 15 minutes later, I saw several official vehicles going in and out of the checkpoint, with a bunch of people getting off to inspect the scenic area. I can understand that Beidahu wants to increase its influence and attract more visitors by hosting events, but treating tourists with such bureaucracy had a very negative impact on existing visitors. Secondly, after checking the map, we detoured via the Club Med parking lot to reach the hotel. The Club Med security guard verbatim said, "Our superiors said that guests staying at Wanli Stone are not allowed in." As the two best hotels in the scenic area, I never expected such a strained relationship between them. By then, all roads to Wanli Stone were blocked. It was also raining that day. As first-time visitors to Jilin, we weren't familiar with Beidahu's geography, and with elderly folks and a baby, we were left searching for the hotel in the rain. The hotel hadn't made any prior arrangements, and it took a long time for the staff to frantically find us. Thirdly, when checking in, the hotel informed me that there would be no food available in this area after 4 PM, and no restaurants nearby would be open... However, due to the two unpleasant incidents mentioned above, the staff offered us an employee meal for dinner that night. We went to eat in a very poor dining environment – it was a deserted food court, full of flies. I haven't seen so many flies indoors in decades! Even more disastrously, breakfast and lunch were also served here... We didn't go for dinner the next day and went out to look for food ourselves, only to find that all restaurants and shops were indeed closed, leaving the area desolate. We came for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, but instead, we paid to be imprisoned here for three days... This was my first time in Jilin, and I'd probably say it will be my last.

The hotel boasts an excellent location with easy access and convenient parking. Skiing is a breeze with seamless access and handy lockers, saving you time and effort. The butler service is a standout feature, making you feel right at home.

We chose Millyard for convenience while taking our kids skiing. Honestly, over 5000 [yuan] for a hotel that's just 'okay' is really pricey. But I figured it was worth it for the kids, given how busy they usually are, and for the easy access to skiing. The room was incredibly small, very dry, and extremely hot. For a room over 5000 a night, the toiletries were surprisingly sub-par, and the room was still tiny. When showering, water would flow out of the bathroom. At first, I thought my child hadn't closed the door properly, but when I showered, I made sure the door was shut, and water still went everywhere. I have no idea how it's designed! The breakfast was almost entirely pre-made dishes; you could tell they were processed. The bread selection was also very limited. And there was hardly any service to speak of in the restaurant. It was really terrible. I felt like I got ripped off! I have to say, the slopes at Beidahu are excellent. It's not as windy as Chongli, and not as cold as Xinjiang, making it a truly great place for skiing. It's just a shame there aren't many good hotels nearby. I really regret choosing Millyard. Next year, I'm definitely trying a different hotel!

This is the perfect choice for a family ski trip to Beidahu! The hotel has direct access to the ski slopes, which is incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious, well-lit, and bright, with all the necessary amenities. The front desk service is excellent, and the breakfast is fantastic. There's also free parking, making travel very easy. Highly recommended!

Lion, our butler at Beidahu Million Stone Onsen Hotel, was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly patient and thorough throughout our stay, always accommodating our requests quickly and thoughtfully. The hotel's ski-in/ski-out access is super convenient, and combined with Lion's attentive, personalized service, we felt completely comfortable from check-in to check-out. Receiving such warm care in the icy cold was a fantastic experience – it truly made our ski vacation perfect. Highly recommended!

This hotel is incredibly family-friendly for skiing! They offer exclusive ski rentals and dedicated ski storage. It's a true ski-in/ski-out experience, with direct access to the slopes and the Gokuraku-yu hot spring. A family of four doesn't have to wait in line for a bath here!

The room was great, and it was super convenient for getting to and from the ski slopes. Rain, our butler, provided excellent service; they checked in with us daily and even brought fruit. We'll definitely be back next ski season!
