In its presence Hongrui Hotel reminds me of the Grand Hotel Amrsth in Amsterdam. Different colour, different era but it comes at you in a similar way.
The staff are polite. One member of staff ran after me at 6..30 a.m. because I had forgotten my deposit. Another lady in the tourist office spoke excellent English and researched my ongoing transport without which I would given up my plan. She also found me a gluten free restaurant. The breakfast staff were professional. The bathroom could do with a bit of refurbishment. But the artistic foyer begs a greater enlivening patronage (though this may have been the off season)

The room was very clean, large, spacious and comfortable. Outside the window was the Yellow River and Danxia on the other side. The scenery was beautiful. The service staff at the front desk and on the floor of the hotel were very gentle and enthusiastic, and the service was standardized and professional. When I left my coat, I was notified immediately. Helps preserve it, and the breakfast is also very nutritious

The location is good, close to the Yellow River. Looking out the window looks like a painting.
There is free parking.
It's an old hotel, the facilities are a bit outdated, but the hygiene is relatively clean.

Stayed in the river view room on the 12th floor, the view was nice. The room decoration was a bit old, but the bed was quite comfortable. We booked a twin room, and the two beds can be put together, just right for two adults and two children to sleep. We only brought two breakfasts, and it cost 28 yuan to add one. I looked at it and it didn't have any special features, so I went downstairs and spent 7 yuan to eat a bowl of beef noodles. Overall, it's still okay. After all, it's just a hotel in a county town, and the price is less than 200. I will consider staying here next time

The rooms are generally very good 👍 We booked two rooms, and the price-performance ratio is quite high. We checked in late and didn't take any photos.
