We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were thrilled with the hotel from the very beginning. It's beautiful and decorated with great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. I would also like to particularly highlight the friendly service and the owner of the hotel, Julian, who personally looks after the guests and is available to answer questions and provide tips. There's a spacious parking lot behind the hotel. The location is also very good, right in the center, surrounded by many restaurants and shops. The town of Avallon and the hotel are absolutely worth seeing. We would have loved to stay longer.

Extraordinary historical coaching inn (even Napoleon stayed here!), elegantly restored, with a wonderful staff operating under the guidance of Mme Karine: a perfect place to stay, in a charming town.

Beautiful hotel … great and excellent service Gorgeous design … highly recommend… the personal were super nice to us … it feels like you are in history novel … the decor is really impressive… the rooms were very clean super comfortable and quite .. the breakfast was served in a spacious dining room … very original design … just loved the place

We were impressed. Perfection in every detail. What quality in the restoration, great class in the decoration. We had dinner at the restaurant. Very pleasant experience. Perfect service. Delicious cuisine. Refined setting. And the presence of Julien Cohen with whom we had a good time. Do not hesitate to go to the bar before or after the meal. 2 hours from Paris. By train or by car. Very good plan.
