On our outward journey to Belgium we had planned one night in the "B&B Hotel" in Auxerre - Le Monétau. There was only one person at the reception, the room was very small, with just the bare necessities. The night was fairly quiet, but then the next morning when we got to breakfast there was practically no breakfast, not even a buffet! There was just some French bread, some butter, not even cheese or some ham, we don't want to talk further about this subject, the breakfast was below average, there was no refill, no one was present when checking out! If we compare all this with what we then offered to our guests for breakfast in our B&B, then this could be compared with a war ration! Never again an overnight stay in a B&B hotel for us.

Easy to book. Easy check-in. Right off the highway. The room was very clean and spacious at this price level. Great for a comfortable overnight stay.

Very clean, well-maintained, and quiet hotel. Much better than the B&B across the street where I stayed last year. Although the Auxerre Monéteau hotel is a bit more expensive, I recommend it because it offers significantly better value for money.

Very neat and well-maintained hotel!!!. Very pleasant staff, very good quality mattress, spacious and modern room and above all very clean hotel. The breakfast is decent and sufficient with a choice of savory or sweet. In short, I recommend it
