Double Tree Hilton - York excellent. Location fab everything within n walking distance, room plenty space for twin room and grand breakfast. Staff helpful - definitely recommend

Good location, check in wasn’t til 4pm! Room was cold the wall heater didn’t work nor did the towel heater in the bathroom. There was a free standing heater for the room. Windows needs replacing they are covered in mould. The floorboards are very creaky so you can hear people moving around and doors slamming. Bed was Comfy. Breakfast wasn’t well organised they ran out of lots of hot food we had to wait for beans, eggs and sausages. They couldn’t cope with the amount of people eating at the same time. Would expect better from a Hilton. Wouldn’t stay again.

Location is quite convenient but the wooden flooring are making lots of noises. The staffs are not as friendly as other Double Tree Hilton provided.

Absolutely beautiful hotel breakfast plenty of bed was to die for didn't want to get out of it downside is parking Absolutely shambles when staff was parking there and you had to go elsewhere to park which was either 22 pound or 30 pound depending which car park disabled car disnt even have badges and wasn't checked either other than that fabulous night we for free cans of water and free cookies on reception

some of the room will only be accessible with stairs booked accessible room as it wont have stairs room is spacious but hotel is old quite a comfortable stay for the price in UK. Towels have some damp smell which is why i dock the cleanliness for. At night there is only one concierge, so need to come to lobby to ask for amenities. Cant make loud noise in accessible room, the alarm will blare off thinking someone injured Downside in York, most taxis are smaller in size compared to other cities. There is no choice of uber XL in York too. Just additional note to be mindful of.

A brilliantly located hotel with great amenities. The cozy double was perfect for just a one night stay. Would definitely stay again!

The room was spacious.Some tired decor in the bathroom. Breakfast was good, except the coffee was not to my taste. Again, spots of tired decor at breakfast lounge. Parking opposite hotel for £30 for 2 days. Comfortable stay.

Hotel was located across the road from the city walls. A 5min walk to the University of York St John. The amenities at the hotel were excellent. It had a small gym located opposite the main reception where guests had 24 hr reception. There was parking available on site at a cost of £25 for 24hr parking. May be cheaper elsewhere but it was very convenient. Staff allowed us to park for extra few hours free of charge. Although we did not pay for breakfast on site it was very well stocked and wildly used by other guests. Room was clean and modern. The A/C was not that affective and did not cool the room down. Which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep at night. It was a hot day and the room was located in a loft conversion. Heat would not normally be an issue.

Perfect hotel for a stay in York, fantastic location next to Monk Gate and right next to the Minister. Room was clean, spacious and shower was excellent with great water pressure and lovely toiletries. We didn’t go for the breakfast, which I am sure is delicious (certainly looked very tasty!) but you’re also in the midst of lots of cafes and restaurants if you’d rather get up and out to sample York’s delights.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night for a leisure trip to York. The location was perfect. The hotel was lovely, bed comfortable, good size room with air conditioning. The bathroom was large. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were courteous and helpful. Highly recommend.

Good location and has parking on site. Rooms are clean albeit a little smaller.

Booked an accessible double room. The front door is accessible via street with two steps there. The bathroom is decent however the shower drain took forever to drain, making a massive puddle for hours

No air conditioning as broken but room was let out despite the property knowing ( as a fan was put in the room but no proper ventilation) was an extremely hot night
