We have stayed here 12 times now. We love it here because all the staff are great. The rooms are comfy,the breakfast is always delicious, It has a bar which you can have drink and go out into their lovely gardens You can walk into York with in 15 minutes or catch a bus down so in other words it's a great place to stay

It only takes 12 minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel. The hotel is a white house, which is very beautiful. Especially in winter, the golden trees and warm sunshine make people feel particularly beautiful. The room size is not bad! Big bed, breakfast included! Convenient to York attractions and dining

The hotel was in an excellent location, with restaurants and bars nearby. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, room clean and bed so comfy. Hotel appears very well maintained, has own bar also. Would definitely stay again.

Brilliant location , easy walking distance into york, excellent breakfast, we had some minor issues with our room some one was rectified immediately the others were minor that house keeping should rectify for the next guests

Nice hotel in a good location 10 minutes walk from the train station and 20 minutes stroll into the center of town. Hotel was well kept, clean. Reception was very friendly and helpful. They where happy to look after our luggage on checkout. Breakfast was excellent, good choice available and food was very good. Staff where all polite, fiendly and helpful. Bedroom was large, comfy and clean. We would be happy to stay again and would recommend the hotel.

It was a very good stay apart from the mattress was either old or not a very good quality one. My wife was fine but I was basically touching the frame through the mattress and didn’t sleep well at all.
Breakfast was outstanding quality and service.
