There is the best location for sunrise and also hiking route to different villages from our hotel. The hotel has it's own viewing platform at the roof top, can see the beautiful sunrise and cloud sea. It has a restaurant offer fantastic coffee , afternoon tea and simple western foods. Foreigner guests are welcomed, as we have proffessional english speaking staff. Can offer detailed and helpful tour suggestions. Also rice fields hiking guide is available. The hotel just located next with the parking lot but still quiet enough. In the mountain you will feel totally free and peaceful. The hotel has good atmosphere public areas, clean and cozy rooms. We had an amazing time despite the bad weather. Tina made us feel at home and we loved to chat with her (she speaks perfect English) and have dinner together. It was very cost to chill next to the fireplace. Tina’s hospitality and kindness really made our stay amazing. She also gave us a lot of great recommendations and tips to discover the region. We would love to come back!

We were 3 and alone in the hotel, there are 2 rooms available with a view but the owner requests more money for this room.
The dinner was not good and very expensive compared to China.
Just the owner was nice to call a taxi driver for us and to give us the track for the hiking.
The room was not very clean.
To resume, the night was expensive for the quality of the hotel.
I don't recommend staying here if you have the choice.

Sometimes when traveling, you find these magical places with wonderful people that make for precious memories. This was one such place for me. Immediately when entering, I could feel that this is like a home - with a lot of love put into every little detail and the warm and welcoming spirit of the hosts. One of them (Tina) even speaks English and she is very well-travelled and kind enough to share her knowledge and time and give many many really helpful recommendations. It's difficult to put into words, so all I can do is say thank you and wholeheartedly recommend staying here and experiencing this wonderful place! It's the perfect home away from home in a beautiful area with wonderful hosts.

I stayed here only one night and I would never have left! The room was nice, clean and with an amazing view. But the strong point is the owner Tina, who is nice, very kind, and available to give all the information possible to travelers: not only specific to the area but to the whole of China. If you want a cozy base camp, choose Tina ;)

Best place I have been in my trip to China so far, super cozy atmosfere, great rooms clean and well furnished and Tina is a super host, she peks great English and is super helpful in every situation. I would definetly come back here if I could, thank you Tina!

The inn is located in a quiet village in Duoyishu. Location was good - about 15 to 20 mins walk from Duoiyishu terrace viewing platform, and there was a small restaurant near the inn. The Hani caretaker was hospitable and showed me the way to get to the terrace fields in the village. It was so wonderful being able to get so close to the rice terraces! Here, you could view the sunrise without having to pay the 70yuan charged at the viewing platforms. Do note that the 70 yuan ticket allows access to the other viewing platforms as well, and is good for 72 hours. I had a free upgrade to a bigger room with large windows and a view. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable with an electric blanket. Owner is fluent in both Chinese and English, and was helpful in arranging my transport and giving advice on the sunrise viewing spots. I have beautiful memories of my stay in Duoyishu, would like to come back again!
