BUTTERFLY COVE CASTLE HOTEL IN YUEXI

We booked an executive two-bedroom suite at the Butterfly Castle Hotel in Yuexi. The living environment was okay, but other than that, it had no other positives. ❌ 1️⃣ Accommodation: The room we were initially given had a toilet that smelled like vomit. 🤮 The hotel claimed it was a sewer issue (I'm not sure if that's true). When I asked to change rooms, they said they were all gone just minutes after I checked in. 🤔 [At check-in, they said there were rooms available on the fifth, ninth, and tenth floors.] When I mentioned this, they said they could coordinate a room, and that the "sewer" on the tenth floor was fine [smile]. Interesting. 2️⃣ Service: The service was average from the first point, and then again at breakfast. My three-year-old accidentally broke a cup, and one waiter demanded compensation (10 yuan). I asked for a price list, and another kind waiter said 7.5 yuan would be the purchase price. It was a truly disappointing experience. 3️⃣ Supporting facilities and crowd: The hotel happened to be hosting a company team-building event, which was very chaotic. At breakfast, strangers would come to share the table with you (even when there were other empty seats). This is something I have never encountered in other hotels.

The supporting services are not up to par. I went to the hot springs on the day I checked in, so I asked if there was a laundry room. They said no, and that I had to send the laundry out and return it the next afternoon. We had already checked out by then, okay? Also, because the bag in the room was used to hold wet swimsuits from the hot springs, I wanted another bag, but it was never delivered. They also said that I had to pay for it. I went to get a bag from the cleaning staff next door before I left. I took the packaging bag of the instant powder to the front desk to cut it open, but they said they didn't have scissors, so they finally took it back like a dog chewing it. This is the kind of service I won't have next time.

酒店外觀為城堡主題設計，夜景不錯，城堡可以變色。房間內及公區設計時尚。點外賣機器人可以直接送到房間。比較方便。運營管理欠佳，進地下車庫二層，門口停滿員工電動車，大門口停滿了三輪車，電動車、還有工具用車，影響大門整體形象。自助早餐區域，糕點台東西吃完了長時間無人補充，調料台香葱、調料醬撒到枱麪長時間無人清理。用餐區域部分與後廚區域重合，後廚區域，餐車、工具車外露無遮擋，影響用餐環境。泳池開放時間太晚，中午12點才開放，晚上八點就結束了。結束時間太早。
