Yufuin Kotobuki Hananosho

Very close to the station, the hotel facilities are a bit old but very clean, and the view is unbeatable.

It was evening when we arrived, and there wasn't much service, just a simple check-in. The room was quite old, but it's very convenient because it's close to the station, about a 10-minute walk. The roads in Yufuin are narrow and uneven, so pushing luggage was tiring, which made even a 10-minute walk feel long. The value for money isn't great; it's old and small, and everything inside looks like it's from the 90s.

1. Overall, even though the facilities are outdated, there were no major issues staying here. 2. It's close to the station, but about a 20-minute walk to the arcade street. 3. Lake Kinrinko is roughly a 30-minute walk away. 4. The breakfast and dinner setup was decent, but the raw food was too fishy for me to eat. 5. I stayed for two nights, but on the last day, a cockroach larger than my thumb appeared. I couldn't rest comfortably and it was a difficult experience. 6. It's unlikely I'll return.

I booked this hotel for my wife's trip to Japan. The food was excellent and the location was very convenient. The bathing facilities were also great. Overall, it's a highly-rated hotel and I'm very satisfied! 👍
