Very enjoyable dinner and hot spring experience. Worth to stay a night.

It was clean and quite spacious. The friendly staff spoke Korean very well, which made my stay even more comfortable.

The hotel is a few minutes' drive from Yufuin, in a tranquil environment, featuring a private Japanese-style open-air bath, and serving Japanese cuisine for breakfast and dinner. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

The environment of the homestay in the mountains is very good. There are not many rooms, about 10. There is a private hot spring in the room. There is also a public hot spring outside. Considering the problem of snoring, I specially booked two rooms. When I arrived, they said there was only one 😭 and I reported it to Ctrip. The response was still very fast. Because it rained heavily on the day we went, we did not stay in the other hotel arranged by Ctrip. We all stayed in one room for one night.

The hotel is located near Yufuin Station. It is best to take a taxi. The cheapest one is about 1,000 yen. You can also ask the hotel front desk to help you get a taxi when you leave. You can't get an Uber here, and there seems to be no other public transportation to get there.

It's the best. There's a private hot spring in the room, and it's quiet and great. The hot spring in the room is bigger than I thought, so I think it can accommodate 3~4 people. The garden is also beautifully decorated. It's hard to walk from the station, so you have to take a taxi back and forth. The building is old, but it's well maintained, so it's okay. When you enter the room, it smells a little musty.

The private hot spring bath in the room is great. However, the hotel does not provide pick-up and drop-off services to and from the station. Guests need to take a taxi themselves, which is a minor flaw.

Communication is not a problem at all, because it is not a self-driving tour, I got up early the next day to catch JR Hakata. They will help you book a taxi for pick-up and drop-off! In terms of facilities, there are public baths for men and women, massage chairs and beds. My friend and I spent a very comfortable night there!

It felt closer to Yuruin Station, about 15 minutes away. Arrived too late, around 6 o'clock... It's so fun that there are only about 6 taxis coming and going from the station. Taxi fare is 1000 yen, which is very reasonable. Although it is far from the station, it is quiet and has a private open-air bath and a hot spring bath in the bathroom. However, what is disappointing is that the service staff were not very proactive and room service ended around 8 o'clock. Be sure to go to a convenience store near Wajan Lake. A Korean woman came in before work, and she was really cute and kind. Except for the service, the taste of the food was a bit off, but I was very satisfied ㅡ I had a good rest

Although it is quite far from Yufuin Station, I think this ryokan is worth it! The food is delicious and the Korean staff are very friendly and helpful. It can accommodate up to 5 people and has a private open-air bath. I think it is also a great advantage to be able to take a hot spring bath at night while looking at the stars in the open sky.

I made a reservation in a hurry, but I'm satisfied. I really liked the individual open-air bath. It's a bit far from the station, but I went there with almost no luggage, so I went on foot and it was nice to see the countryside. As for the food... I tend to eat a lot of unbalanced meals ㅠㅜ

Hefengshan Japanese-style Hotel is very similar to a single-family log cabin. It isolates the noise of people living next door. It is very suitable for my family of 4 people to stay. There are 2 Western-style beds + 2 Japanese-style tatami mats, and the room has indoor Soup bath + outdoor open-air bath can be continued for a limited time without being disturbed by anyone. There is also a meal and two meals to satisfy. One of the waiters can speak Chinese to break the language barrier. It has not been provided since June last year (2022/Jun) For the pick-up service, it only costs ¥950 to take a taxi from the Oilcloth Yard Station to the hotel, and the journey takes less than 10 minutes.

First of all, it was a satisfying hot spring trip. It's a bit far from Yufuin Station, so I took a taxi to get there, but there was no inconvenience when using the ryokan because the staff spoke Korean. Ryokan cleanliness. I was satisfied with all the services. However, breakfast and dinner were acceptable. Other than that, everything else was a satisfactory ryokan trip. I definitely plan to use it again next time.
