After getting off at Yufuin, it takes about a 10-minute taxi ride to reach the hotel. If you're not driving, getting around might be a bit inconvenient. My husband and I bought a lot of food from AEON near the station this trip. The hotel's ambiance is excellent, and I'm very satisfied with the design and decor, especially the small ornaments which show the owner's meticulousness and high standards for the living environment. My favorite part was the private bath with high privacy. I'll definitely stay here again in the future, as the taxi fare is quite affordable. Moreover, when we checked out, the staff even helped me call a taxi to the station. Overall, it was a great stay.

Quiet relaxing place. You get to have the whole little house to yourself, with pantry, onsen, toilet, living room, and bedroom. The onsen water is very clear and hot enough. They provide all utilities needed for the onsen just like the traditional onsen place. The house is very spacious and cozy. I would totally recommend this to anyone who likes onsen and quiet place.

This hotel features a standalone design, spaciousness, and private hot springs, making it definitely worth staying at least once. The front desk assists with luggage handling upon check-in and provides car service. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, although the location is not very convenient."

Sigh... I promised the ryokan managers, Mogi-san and Damma-san, that I would write a review, but I am far too late. Everything was perfect—cleanliness, price, room size, amenities, and atmosphere—without a single flaw. I traveled on foot without a rental car. From Hakata to Yufuin, I took the bus, got off at the Michinoeki Yufuin stop, and walked for about 10 minutes to reach the ryokan. As mentioned in the reviews, if you ask the manager when going downtown, they will call a taxi for you. Make sure to take a taxi!! Especially at night!! I almost peed my pants walking back to the ryokan at night... The streets of Yufuin at night are scary, so please head back quickly. Damma-san and Mogi-san, I wonder if Korean cigarettes suit your taste 🤣 I hope to see you again someday.

The room is spacious, and I like that the hotel has a private hot spring bath. There is a delicious barbecue restaurant nearby. I will come again if I have time next time.

One downside is that it is difficult to catch a taxi late at night in Yufuin, so I recommend checking in early. Every room has a private bath with no time limit, so it was the best ryokan I have ever stayed at. You can even see the stars at night!!

This is my second time staying at this place, and I think this is the only place you need to visit for Yufuin Onsen.

The hotel rooms were spacious. We booked a private onsen room, but the onsen water was very hot; we had to let it cool down a bit before using it. The water temperature fluctuated while showering, which wasn't ideal. The location definitely requires a car, otherwise it can be quite inconvenient.

Please pay attention to the check-in time of the hotel when you check in. Normally, you can't check in after 20 o'clock. The front desk guy can only wait for you overtime and tell you seriously to be punctual. It costs about 1300 to take a taxi from the station to the hotel (if you make an appointment to call a taxi, you need to add 300 for the pick-up fee). At 10 o'clock the next morning, there was no one at the hotel front desk (probably because they waited for us to work overtime until late the day before), so you can only go to the road to hail a car. The overall environment of the hotel is still very good, and the open-air bath is great. No meals are provided, it is recommended to bring your own, but again, don't miss the check-in time, otherwise you will be scolded.

Each room is an independent bungalow with a private hot spring, providing a full sense of space and privacy. The hot spring bath is very large, so it is absolutely no problem for two or three people to soak in it at the same time. 100% spring water, the temperature is very high, you need to add water for adjustment. The room is fully equipped with skin care products and mosquito repellent. There are many hand-painted posters in the Showa style in the room to remind guests, which is very cute. The bed and quilt were very comfortable, and the air conditioner could be adjusted to the appropriate temperature (not central heating), so I slept soundly all night. There is a large window at the end of the bed, through which you can enjoy the view of Mount Yufu in the morning light. The hotel is family-run. The owner is very stylish (?) and friendly. He will help carry the luggage to the room and there is no problem communicating in English. The hotel does not have a restaurant and does not provide breakfast or dinner. You need to prepare food before checking in. But there are microwave frozen food and alcohol vending machines, which are filled with local special frozen delicacies recommended by the owner. I also tried one of the meat rolls!

A very comfortable hot spring hotel, with convenient parking for self-driving tours, and close to Youfuin Station and Yuzhiping Street. Stayed in room 101, and the open-air bath was very comfortable!

I really like the accommodation here. It is very private, but you can invite friends from other rooms to party together. And what I like the most is that the room is large and separate. There are also complete amenities. The caretaker is very cute.

I stayed for 2 nights and it was clean and nice! The owner was kind and if you ask him when you need to move, he will call you a taxi! It's a bit disappointing that there is no kaiseki, but other than that, everything is great! The private hot spring bath is especially a merit :)
