Very sophisticated, boutique hotel with contemporary and minimalism style room and facility design. 24 hours in-room private onsen provided, very cozy and suitable for couples and family vacation. All shampoo, body wash, lotion and tonic are lavender flavor and made in Japan, very nice. Even there is 2km distance to YuFuin station, but along the YuFuin Forest Train line, you may walk through very local residential areas, you can feel the loval culture definitely. Both breakfast and dinner are very nice and having fine dining feel 👍 Highly recommend for those visitors who drive here.

The location is not very accessible without a car, but it was convenient because they provided a pick-up service. And all the service responses were excellent, and the food was really delicious. The accommodation was also quiet, peaceful, and independent, so I was very satisfied. The view from the bathtub was also great.

There are not many people booking the hotel, and there are only about 10 rooms in total, so it has a small but beautiful feeling. There is a private bath in the room, which is very quiet. There is nothing to do in the surrounding area within walking distance. When you arrive at the station, you can call the hotel to pick you up. When you’re tired from playing, it’s a good time to come here and have a good rest.

The most memorable accommodation during my trip to Fukuoka, pick-up service, the best private hot spring, and kaiseki, so I felt like I knew it. There is no convenience store nearby for those who want to eat late-night snacks, so you have to buy it and bring it with you. The staff were very friendly and comfortable.

We stayed at the Ryokan almost three months ago. And I still did not write a review. We stayed there almost by accident, as the Ryokan we intended to stay in had only a vacancy for one night. There was time pressure. So I accepted their suggestion of their colleagues. Maybe I would not have picked it if I had looked into it better as I prefer a traditional house and here the old house (badly damaged by an earthquake) has been erased and replaced with daring new architecture. Yet is turned out to be the best place of our trip, one of the best places I stayed in, and I have been in many places all over Japan. How to write a review that does justice to this special place ? A place that has all the old fashioned refinery, mastering the tradition of omotenashi, blending it perfectly with a young vibrant savoir-vivre, global art and gastronomy. |I cannot write a review. Exceptional stay, it’s like a peaceful retreat vibe only 5 mins drive from Yufuin center. There is nothing to fault at all, and this hotel deserves more recognition! From the moment I drove in, we were greeted by the staff who helped us carried our bags into the reception, and the staff even parked our car for us. The service is impeccable, 10 out of 5 stars. The room is very modern, Japanese minimalistic vibes. There is a private onsen in the room, and the shower is basically the shower that is in the onsen. We did not opt for dinner, but judging from the exceptional breakfast, I believe they the food here is also spectacular. We got a private room for our breakfast (we are a group of 4 people). The receptionist even helped me booked the restaurant for dinner, and there is free round trip transport that they offered to get us to the restaurant. Overall, it’s such a lovely place to stay, I highly recommend!

Large room size with remarkable facilities such as indoor floor heating facilities and indoor onsen bath. Japanese style breakfast and fine dining dinner are also worth mentioning. We received a shuttle from Yufuin Station and arrived in about 5 minutes. The site is large and there are buildings scattered about, but the overall structure is compact and simple with no waste. I chose a maisonette type, but as a result, a one-story type is sufficient. There is only an open-air bath on the second floor, and the space is bare and not very comfortable. During my stay, I only went up twice so I thought it was pointless. We had two meals at the hotel's restaurant. At best, it was a simple meal, at worst it was unimpressive, and it was a meal that would probably disappear from my memory after six months. The customer service didn't come and didn't leave, and it was almost left alone. There was no problem with the timing of the serve, but it is true that I felt a little disappointed as I did not feel the hospitality given the price. The interior and furniture of the room have a uniform tone and are reasonably comfortable, but there are no elements that make you feel like staying at a hotel or inn, and it feels like you're staying at someone's villa. Although it is written in a harsh manner, I would be happy if you could see it as an evaluation that is worth the price.

I suddenly made up my mind and immediately booked the last room. It was my first inn, but it was a great answer. It became a good memory of the couple's trip for the first time in 33 years. I was satisfied with the service, rooms, hot springs, meals, everything. In particular, dinner was very delicious with plenty of local ingredients. In particular, the rice was cooked in an iron pan just before eating, and it was a new rice grown by the owner himself. I can only eat at this time of year, so I thought I stayed at a good time.
