A 5 star rated and cost hotel with nice amenities and outdoor environment. Room is very spacious and faces the garden. Hotel food pricing expensive and not worth the cost as there is a much better option at the Desert in the Garden hotel under same group. Also staff service could do with more friendly smiles and welcoming attitudes. Not sure if they are part timers or working holidays staff since some show their inexperience in service. Other areas for improvement are insufficient signage of directions in such huge resort hotel, no room number on the desk phone in room, stains found on walls in bathroom and in toilet bowl (due to minerals in flushing water from the area per management explanation).

Contrary to some reviews which said that only The Desert Rose hotel had views of Uluru, my room here had a balcony, from the balcony we could see Uluru. It was lovely.

Great place to stay close to the town centre. They have buses that will pick you up and drop back to the airport.

It’s a lovely hotel but it’s not what you’d expect from a hotel at this price point anywhere else. The resort is monopolised so not much choice. The only dinner option is an extortionate dinner buffet for $102pp and breakfast is $50pp
No diffuser for the hair dryer and the ironing table was broken and wouldn’t stay upright.
But bed was big and super comfortable and otherwise the room was large and spacious. Bathroom was clean and water pressure etc… good.
