Deting Dianchali Tea Culture Hotel

I was pleasantly surprised after my stay. The service was excellent; they offer complimentary laundry service for up to six items, which are washed, dried, folded, and returned to your room – I really appreciated this. The room was spotlessly clean and equipped with Jo by Jo Loves toiletries and a Dyson hairdryer. The breakfast was delicious, especially the wontons cooked in chicken broth, which were very flavorful. The hotel also serves lunch and late-night snacks, and there's Puer tea available at all times. The environment is very peaceful, and on a clear day, you can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the seventh-floor garden. It's very close to the ancient city, making it convenient for sightseeing. It's a perfect place for a short stay in Lijiang.

The environment here is fantastic! We only booked the room with supper, and the mini wontons were absolutely delicious – highly recommend them! The service, well, that goes without saying. It's so much better than many chain hotels. They proactively called us a day before to ask if we needed a parking space reserved, and when we arrived, all the staff were incredibly welcoming. They helped us with our luggage, and even the housekeeping staff were exceptional. They tidied up my data cables, organized my toiletries, and even shined my shoes – so thoughtful! This is the first time I've genuinely wanted to give a hotel such a great review. Next time I'm in Lijiang, I'll definitely stay here again. I truly hope De Ting Hotel can expand to more places and continue to thrive!

The staff were super friendly and very responsive. They offered a good variety of teas, which tasted great and were very relaxing to drink. The meals were also a pleasant surprise; the taste was excellent, and the portions were generous. Overall, the experience was absolutely outstanding! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Lijiang. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip!

10/10 points 💯 This is the most satisfying hotel we've ever stayed in across the world over the past decade. The service is paramount, the facilities are comfortable, and the toiletries are Jo Malone. They even offer a daily laundry service for 6 items. We really felt the warmth and human touch here. Many details were noticed by the hotel staff, showing more professionalism and attentiveness than many 5-star hotels 😍😍😍. The stay also included breakfast, lunch, and late-night snacks, which is an uncommon service and a huge plus 👍. If I had stayed at De Ting on my first day in Lijiang, I probably wouldn't have bothered moving to another hotel. Grateful for the experience 🙏. It's also the hotel we immediately wanted to book for a month's stay after our first night here 😍😍. Finally, I will miss the Pu'er tea here!!!! (I'll definitely recommend it to all my friends)

I swear I'm not a shill, I'm not a shill, I'm not a shill! I met up with a classmate from my master's program who works in Lijiang during this holiday. Since I didn't have a solid itinerary, my classmate booked one night for me after my flight landed. I was so shocked and touched after checking in that I extended my stay for many more days! The hotel's design perfectly matches its name. It's primarily New Chinese style, with tea culture subtly integrated in appropriate places, such as the tea leaves laid out in the elevator and the tea cake decorations above the bed. There are also textual explanations, which serve as decor while also being another way to preserve, inherit, protect, and promote traditional culture. I didn't get a chance to experience the hotel's dining because I was too busy sleeping and sightseeing, but judging by the restaurant and tea room environment, it must be excellent! It's worth mentioning that the seventh floor also has a dedicated scenic garden terrace and a bar, perfect for enjoying the view and relaxing at night. The service left the deepest impression on me!! It was absolutely amazing!! Every time a staff member passed by, I'd receive a warm smile and a greeting. Room amenities like bedding, toiletries, and drinks were replenished very promptly. The laundry service was also highly efficient and high-quality; I believe each room gets six free laundry items per day, which is incredibly thoughtful! What touched me the most was that after I put out the 'please make up room' sign and returned to my room after a day out, I found that my suitcase had been wiped clean, my clothes folded, my charging cables organized, and my socks were even washed and dried for me!!! Can you believe that!!! They truly made me feel at home! All in all, I can't find any fault with this hotel. It's so good that if any friends or family tell me they're going to Lijiang, I will definitely recommend they stay here! Dian Cha Li is simply unbeatable!

Service: The service here is exceptionally good. Among all the hotels I've stayed at, this is the only one where I felt genuine sincerity and meticulous, thoughtful service from the very first check-in. Cleanliness: The hygiene is excellent. The room attendant, Lanlan, was very attentive, helping to fold clothes and tidy up belongings. The hotel offers breakfast, lunch, and late-night snacks, plus additional sweet soup in the evenings, which is a lovely touch. They even gave my child a small gift when we left, making him very happy. Many thanks to the butler for their service!
