Right from the start the man checking us in wasn’t interested - mumbling his words even when we asked him to speak up because we couldn’t hear. Breakfast was disgusting - and the vegetarian options were appalling so my friend and I had to eat out most of the time despite having paid for breakfast at the hotel. Balcony’s on the ground floor absolutely stank with whatever was being used to water the plants so you couldn’t enjoy sitting on the balcony, but it was too hot in the room to stay in there either. Have to pay extra to use the air-conditioning and the beds felt like sleeping on the floor they were that hard. Barely got 2/3 hours of sleep at night due to how uncomfortable they were. It wasn’t clean, the fresh towels they were putting out had stains on them from god knows what. Then one night the smoke alarm went off randomly - me and my friend aren’t smokers and neither of us had sprayed anything to set it off - they took the alarm away and never put it back or moved us to a new room. I’m sure that got to be illegal? We felt very unsafe. Plus the harassment from men in the pool towards young girls who clearly weren’t interested and were very uncomfortable - you’d think the life guard on shift would tell them to stop or leave, but there was no intervention to prevent these girls from being harassed. I guess that’s what you get for a “party hotel” but there should still be a duty of care. Overall bad experience. Don’t go here.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. (I’m segmenting this since there is so much!) The scam: Upon arrival we spoke to the receptionist and he said we owed tax on the rooms which is supposed to be €5 per night per room. We booked 2 rooms and were staying for 6 nights so we only “should’ve” paid €60. Instead the receptionist told us it was €5 per person per day. Stupidly we paid him €175. The next day we spoke to another receptionist as we realised on their sign on the desk it said per room and realised the mistake. The lady on the desk said we were overcharged and helped us sort it out. However, it turned out we actually owed nothing because we already had paid the tax when making the booking. Obviously we were nieve and shouldve checked but luckily we noticed otherwise they wouldve pocketed our money. On top of that we made friends at the hotel and the same receptionist had scammed another group of girls but didnt try it with the group of boys we spoke to (coincidence i think not). Despite this ordeal the hotel was still god awful. The Room: The aircon didnt work & they tried to charge us anyway. It was also so dirty we all got ill. There is no safe. The wallpaper was hanging off. There were stains on the walls. There were holes in the bedsheets. 3 of the lights in the room didnt work. The balcony doors were broken. The door handles of the bathroom were broken. The toilet roll handle was broken. There was no shower curtain so the bathroom constantly flooded. Nothing drained so our sink was constantly full of water & shower also full of water. Our towels were never replaced. Our bedsheets were never replaced. In general: A male staff member kept making comments to the girls asking to put suncream on their bums etc. There is nowhere safe for your suitcases. It is constantly noisy since its right on the ***** and they play music during the day. Overall, the only good thing was that you didnt have to walk far to get back to the hotel. Some of the staff members were really lovely despite the other ones. The pool was always clean and there was a man there that was always trying to help out and make the place look nice. We had a good holiday regardless however I wouldnt recommend this hotel.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The staff behind reception were lovely and welcoming, and the barman at the outdoor bar was also friendly and provided great service. They really helped make parts of our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, our experience with one of the security staff completely ruined it. We were wrongly accused of making noise when it was actually a group of boys being 'too loud'. Instead of addressing the people responsible, the security guard screamed in my friend’s face when she calmly tried to explain that we weren’t involved. He didn't let her get a word in when we were trying to explain to him it wasn't us (which he knew as he had previously knocked on the boys door to kindly ask them to turn the volume of their speaker down) His behaviour was disrespectful, intimidating, and completely unacceptable. So girls if you are going to stay at this hotel be safe please!! To make matters worse, he later followed us back to our room, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe as women. That is something no guest should ever have to experience. This is a hotel located on the Zante *****, so some level of noise is to be expected. There is no excuse for a member of staff to treat guests in such a threatening and unprofessional manner. Management seriously needs to address this issue, as his behaviour made us feel unsafe and, in my opinion, he should not be working in a role responsible for guest safety. It’s a real shame, because the rest of the staff were kind and helpful, but this experience overshadowed what could have been a much better stay.

The security is creepy especially towards females, he comes out around 11 pm with a flashlight torch to shine on anyone making any noise at all, we found we couldn’t even walk the cooridoors without being aggressively told to stop talking, which is ironic considering the hotel is on the *****. This also means music or preeing in someone’s room. There was an occasion the security screamed in our faces for talking in the cooridoor then continued to follow us back to our room to see what room number we were in for some reason after I had refused to tell him which room we stayed in. Overall unsafe for girls because of the creepy and disrespectful security.

Hotel is very poor, only positive is good location, first night staff walked into room while I was naked and getting changed without knocking, mattress had stains all over, bathroom door wouldn’t shut completely never mind have a lock on it. overall pretty unhygienic. The biggest issue was the security guard who was very rude and aggressive and would flash laser/ torch at people sitting on balcony to tell them to be quiet. Even after we complied, he continued to stare at us and shout at us to stop speaking completely, this started at around 10.30-11pm each night. He then stopped us each time we left/entered property to argue with us about our volume despite complying with his request. Everyone was quiet and respectful but seems like he has a power trip/ takes enjoyment out of this behaviour. It also seemed that he was targeting female groups rather than male groups.
