Terrible Experience - Dishonest Host and Front Desk My experience at this hotel was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I booked a room through Trip.com, and my friend booked another through ***********. Upon arrival, we were told that only one room was available, even though our reservations showed two different rooms with distinct sizes (32m² for mine and 26m² for my friend's). The host admitted he knew about the double booking issue from the start but didn't inform us, despite contacting my friend earlier to confirm our arrival time. He only asked if we were willing to share a room when we arrived, given the lack of other options in the area at that time of night. That evening, the host offered a 70% refund for my booking, which was disappointing but we agreed to it. However, when we checked out, the hotel refused to provide any refund at all. They claimed that I had stayed in the second room, which was not true. I had stayed in the room booked under my friend’s name, so we effectively paid for two rooms but only got one, with no refund for the unused room. The host and the front desk staff were incredibly unhelpful and dishonest throughout the process. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and it shows a complete lack of integrity. If we hadn't been friends, this could have been a much worse situation, possibly leaving one of us without a place to stay. I would strongly advise against staying here if you're looking for trustworthy and reliable service.

Perfect hotel to stay if you want to explore Zandvoort and the rest of the area. Location very central near the beach and shops/restaurants. Service very good, they know the area. Communication excellent about checking in really easy. We booked Room 3 a nice with enough space for and a nice kitchen it also has little outside area a couch and a nice bathroom. They whole hotel is really well kept and clean.

That was an outstanding experience.Very modern keyless. The Room was fully controlled via your mobile phone..the people who run the hotel where outstanding helpful and nice. The bed was a super comfy one.. in the lobby was a bar for drinks with self service and you can decide what do you think it was worth to pay .the "honesty bar"..I loved the idea behind this

We recently returned from a six-night stay at the Boutique Hotel Margretha, and the four of us were sorry to leave. I will attempt to cover all of the positives. Harry and Linda are fantastic hosts--friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. The daily breakfast delivered to your door is a lovely and filling Dutch feast with fresh rolls and croissants from a local bakery, cheese and meats, yogurt, fresh fruit, and eggs. The rooms are beautifully furnished--spacious, and comfortable. The beds are excellent providing a comfortable night's sleep. The beach and the town are a primary attraction, but should the weather be poor, the rooms are a lovely place to spend a relaxing day. Zandvoort is a perfect location from which to visit Haarlem, Amsterdam, and any other spots in the Netherlands. The hotel is located a 3-5 minute walk (depending on your age and mobility) from the train station from which you can travel to Amsterdam in 30 minutes. It is the perfect base for a visit to this wonderful country. We have visited the Netherlands several times but after staying here, we can't imagine a better location or a more perfect experience. We can't wait to return.

Would recommend staying here. The place was absolutely spotless. Smart room was great as we could cast tv. Bed and the pillows were very comfy so all slept well. Provided a cot also. Lots of great coffee and good options nearby including Bino.

What a unique experience! We stayed at the hotel after the Ferry Coster & friends festival at Beach club Fuel and what a stay it was ! A beautiful building fully refurbished to the highest standard with a smart home environment. Linda & Harry are an example of how hosts should be ! There is a parking garage just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel and you can hire (electric) bikes, what we did to go to the festival. Our room was beautiful and luxurious with extremely comfy beds and pillows. In the morning our delicious breakfast was served in the room. This amazing hotel truly is a gem in Zandvoort and highly recommended!
