Hotel Victoriya ★★★★
"Super. A beautiful hotel with top-notch service. Cleanliness and excellent breakfasts. We also made use of the wellness facilities."
Grand Hotel Zell am See ★★★★
"Everything was great"
Rauriserhof 4 Sterne Superior ★★★★
"We visit this hotel every year and we are soo grateful to all who work at the hotel. They are so kind and caring. They work so hard to make your stay there, the best it could be. Jamel & David are fantastic in the bar, Miklos is wonderful on reception too, with the rest of reception team. They are always smiling and ready to help. The food is fabulous, the rooms are very comfortable and the hotel owners, Martin & Sandra are always around, mingling with their guests to make sure your stay is perfect. A wonderful place. You have Super Christian in the Spa area. He helps with face and body scrubs. Lots of good activities like snow walking, candle light walks. Thank you for the PREFECT skiing holiday ."
Wildkogel Resorts - Das Neukirchen ★★★★
"Easy to find, quiet surroundings. Love the Mountain View from the room."
Fish'Inn Zell - Hotel Fischerwirt ★★★★
"Just returned from a weeks holiday to Zell, I travelled alone, my travel agent was Ingrams. I stayed at the Fish 'Inn and I had my evening meal at the sister hotel Romantik the more luxurious of the two hotels. I had previously visited Zell on 2 previous occasions with my family and stayed in different hotels and I have to say it's a great resort. I found the Fish 'Inn to be very good if you know "what to expect before arriving ". Positives are central location, very good breakfast, adequate boot room, very friendly staff and in my case a good room overlooking the main street. Apart from the check in day it has no reception staff available so guests need to be aware of this but personally I didn't see it as an issue. It did get noisy late evening as people left the bars and restaurants but the noise cancelling ear plugs came in handy and allowed a good night's sleep! However I found the spa area very basic, offering a sauna and infra-red box and a small relaxation area. It had no room for changing as it has limited space. I used it on 2 occasions and no-one else was present so I can't say how popular it is? Can I politely suggest a Water dispenser for sauna to be added to this area to allow clent rehydration as currently no water is available? Spa aside I was certainly happy with this hotel. Dinner was taken in the Romantik Hotel, access to the restaurant/Hotel was via an internal walkway which only took a couple of minutes. I found overall the staff to be very friendly, the food excellent and the ambience of the hotel very good. Like the Fish' Inn it has a central location about a 10 minute walk to the City Express bubble to take you to the piste. A sour note was when I enquired about the use of the hotel shuttle bus at reception. A mature lady in a red waistcoat curtley told me Romantik guest paid more than Fish 'Inn guests and as such shuttle buses were for them not Fish 'Inn guests. I explained I was paying a premium for sole occupancy so probably comparable to Romantik but this was to no avail as the lady was dismissive. She then added logistics to her price point aguement and the conversation ended. In my dealings with other reception staff when paying for the spa I found them very friendly. For the record if I was to travel out on March 21st 2026 ie one week after my holiday and went with my partner and stayed at the Romantik I could get it 21% cheaper than I paid travelling as a single traveller at the Fish 'Inn?!. So not sure her argument on price was valid! I can't help but think this policy on shuttle is overly rigid but clearly that is a hotel policy. Other areas potential guests need to be aware of are as follows, I was not able to "run up "a hotel tab and had to settle my drinks bill each evening. I couldn't charge it to my room in the Fish 'Inn which was an inconvenience but again hotel policy. Given I found the Fish 'Inn spa to be limited I used the Romantik on 2 occasions and I was charged 29 e"
Upside down Town Hotel-Neue Post ★★★★
"The Hotel was definitely one of the best holiday experiences I have ever had, having traveled extensively over Christmas I can truly say this really was a unique and unforgettable experience. The modern but cozy style is clean and crisp, with special care for every detail ranging from the spacious , inviting lobby including large marble tables, a comfortable romantic fireplace modern art, to an extensive and lively bar ...and some great live music. The Staff is extraordinary friendly and professional, family oriented and dynamic, looking after your every needs. Much appreciated when traveling with family! The rooms are spacious and clean, modern and equipped with lovely accessories. The restaurant and the whine selection is on point, making sure everyday is a culinary experience...much deserved after a long day skiing, which by the way is just a minutes walk distance from the hotel to the skiing lifts. A very special mention from my part is the spa-area, which is in my opinion one of the best spa-amenities I have experienced at a hotel or a retreat for that matter. A wide selection of saunas, steambath, jacuzzi, pool and even a large chill out area to relax and unwind after a session in the sauna overlooking the alps. The Hotel is situated right in the heart of the romantic town of Zell am See, easy to locate and surrounded by bars and restaurants. This Christmas we were blessed with fantastic snowfall and great weather which naturally made the holiday even more exceptional as the vast resort is suited for all level skiers, even the youngest. A great place for families and couples and a truly unforgettable experience that I can highly recommend!"
Hotel Schloss Mittersill ★★★★
"The building is nice, but remote from everything. I booked a suite for 3 days, but got standard service. When i asked for a decent 2 person size bed cover, they replied that a tiny single person duvet was standard. And a bigger one did not exist. So for 4 nights i was sleeping very bed."

Salzburgerhof, Das 5-Sterne Hotel Von Zell am See
"Good location and beautiful hotel. We are a family of two adults and three kids( age between 9 to 13). Hotel charged us for three adults and two kids. Three nights we ended up paying 3000euro plus. Cost is pretty high and the most hurting point is that we only got to know this upon check out…"
Seevilla Freiberg
"Wonderful hotel. All staff were extremely helpful and made everything easy for us, navigating a ski holiday with 4 children. The hotel is beautiful, on the edge of town overlooking the lake, the views are amazing. Waking up to a view of the lake each morning was so wonderful. It's a 10 min walk to the centre, 15 in ski boots but there is a free ski shuttle from the hotel that you can pre book. We used this every day to go in but the 4.00 return was a bit early for us, but to walk one way, even with children felt fine. The food was absolutely fantastic and they were very accomadating of our son, who eats different foods. A buffet breakfast, then set 5 course dinner, you choose either 6.00 or 7.30 time to eat. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone smiling. Highly recommend, thank you for making a wonderful holiday."

Chalet in Saalfelden Near Ski Slopes
Vaya Post Saalbach
"We stayed at Vaya Post Saalbach and loved it. We were a really big group (70+) and they handled us really well, especially when taking over the bar after skiing! Location is excellent, right in the heart of the village. We were an easy walk to the Snow Academy, supermarket and gondolas. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. Food was excellent. Some of the best meals I experienced in Austria. A big selection of fruit, yoghurt and warm breakfast each day and a set menu to choose from for dinner. Highly recommend."
Revier Boutique Hotel Kaprun
"A beautiful new hotel, equipped with everything you need for both summer and winter vacations. The rooms, lobby, restaurant, and outdoor terrace are modern and tastefully furnished. We were pleased with both the hearty breakfast and the excellent dinner. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I recommend not missing out on the Revier Spritz :-)"
Tauern Spa Hotel & Therme
"Friendly staff, great selection of different foods, very tasty breakfasts and dinners"
Superior Hotel Tirolerhof - Zell am See
"We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was excellent however it had no air con. and so was quite hot at times. The hotel was quiet as it was the start of the season however we liked it like that. It was spotlessly clean everywhere the pool and sauna areas were immaculate. There was no noise at all outside our room as the glazing was great. The service in the restaurant was fabulous and we would like to commend Laszlo who served us our meals, he was polite and friendly and had a good sese of humour. The ammenities were as we expected from a high standard hotel. The food was of a good standard and plentiful. The reception staff were friendly and helpful especially the english lady. The only criticism we have is The lunch menu was the same every day . Meat soup and not much vegitarian vegan option likewise the afternoon tea only had salad usually as vegan or vegitarian and no other choice. Meat sandwiches were served one day and I asked why not a vegan vegitarian sandwich option . I was abruptly told, It will nearly be evening meal time. Not very customer friendly."
Hotel LukasMayr
"The hotel is very decent, me and my mum had a good time. Only one thing was bothering us during our stay and that was a soft mattress, which woke up the other person when one was turning around. The food is good, especially dinners. The breakfast was decent but we expected a little more. Sightseeing and hiking around the hotel is nice and close to the hotel is a swimming pool for only 5€ per day. Would recommend"
Hotel Glasererhaus
"The staff are super friendly and helpful. It is a lovely touch that the hotel includes a guest mobility card. The sauna room is a little gem, perfect for unwinding and relaxing."
Two Timez - Boutique Hotel
"This hotel has a brilliant location. Right in the center of Zell Am See. We arrived by train and it only took 5-10 mins to walk to the hotel and was very easy to find (check in is next door at their neighbour hotel). We arrived early before the rooms were ready but they were happy to store the bags/do the check in details so when we arrived back at 3pm we could just take the keys. The room itself was great. It was a good size and really nicely decorated. Had enough space to sleep three (one on a sofa bed). Good wardrobe space, a fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, big TV with smart features like Netflix and good WIFI. The bathroom was fantastic, really big open shower and modern decor. They also have an option to contact reception through whatsapp which was really handy as I could get support on something without needing to leave the room. They also recommended a couple of things that were happening in the area during our stay through it, which was a nice touch. We didn't have the breakfast during our stay but this is at the neighbour hotel where they also have a bar and both areas looked very nice. The reason I haven't given it five stars is the noise. Our room faced the front of the hotel and in the evenings there is a gin bar that sets up tables right underneath the rooms and we could hear everything. The hotel could really benefit from better or secondary glazing as we could hear the conversations until at least midnight (and this was a week night). We could also hear people in the corridor of the hotel itself. It is a real shame as otherwise the hotel was really good but we did find it difficult to get to sleep. Perhaps rooms at the back/on higher floors are more quiet but we were only there for a couple of nights so didn't raise the issue. That said I would still recommend the hotel as a base to explore Zell am See and we enjoyed our time there."
Superior Sport und Familienresort Alpenblick
"We travelled with crystal ski. Flew to Salzburg and then 1 1/2 hour bus transfer. We eventually got to the hotel and checked in via a pleasant team on the reception desk. We took our bags to the room and went for dinner. We were quite disappointed with the size of the room and after dinner had a chat with reception. They were so kind and with the help of the Crystal rep Sophie we were moved the next day. Once the room was sorted our appreciation of the hotel and its facilities and grew. Such a wonderful team all the way through the hotel. I am a skier and my wife is a non skier. If you want a hotel to accommodate both then do not hesitate to book. There is so much to do here. The hotel is located directly next to the bus stop which can transfer you to Ski lifts. Excellent. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. We were served by the wonderful Ramona who really looked after us. We were seated in a very sociable area and chatted with fellow guests for hours. Meal times were excellent. Thank you Ramona. The kitchen party was great fun introducing the staff to guests. Skiing very comprehensive. Go for the full valley pass enabling you to ski at many other resorts. Kaprun was spectacular. In summary the Alpenblick is a very well managed family business with friendly staff. I would definitely come back. Thank you Seigl family and all the team"
