This hotel very good location , convenient ,must book room with Matterhorn view from balcony

We booked a Matterhorn view room for our family trip to Zermatt. Luckily, we were upgraded, and with clear skies, the view of the Matterhorn from our room was breathtaking. The starry sky was twinkling beautifully, and the sunrise was magnificent, making for a wonderful memory. The breakfast was also wonderful and delicious, and this is a hotel we would definitely stay at again. We will also recommend this to family and friends. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

I have been to Zermatt many times, and this is my first time staying at this hotel. If you bring your children with you, you still need to pay even if you don't use an extra bed, and it's not low. I called to inquire before coming, and the staff said that if you don't add an extra bed, there is no charge. Obviously, there is no uniformity within the hotel, or it depends on the person. In addition, the train station pick-up also needs to be charged, which I have never encountered in other hotels in Zermatt

The scenery is amazing. You can see the Matterhorn from your room. Remember to book a room with a view. In addition, the hotel staff are very considerate and will explain the hiking route and travel guide when you check in, which is very helpful. There is also a spa that you can use, and the breakfast is very rich in Switzerland.

There will be welcome drinks during the check-in service. The room environment is very good and the space is large. It is recommended to stay in the room for a few more days.

The lobby and outdoor leisure area of the four-star hotel are very warm, and welcome champagne is provided, and the train station can also be picked up if necessary. The room and bathroom are clean and comfortable, and the service is warm. Disadvantages: 1. The entrance of the hotel is facing a large cemetery by the river. Although the Swiss cemetery has flowers and grass, it is not scary, but if you mind, pay attention to the orientation of the room. 2, 180 Swiss francs for an extra bed over 12 years old is too expensive! You can book a single room at the hotel next door. Be careful!

The attitude of the service staff is very good, but the external environment is average, the breakfast is average, and the balcony of the room is not facing the Matterhorn, but the cemetery.

這是一次糟糕的入住體驗，尤其是前台服務，過於死板了，很難想象一個一晚上這麼貴的酒店前台管理竟會如此死板，在歐洲入住的每個酒店都會把12歲以下的小童照顧好，衹有這個酒店非要多收取一個人的入住費，最後我們用了不吃早餐來抵扣，離開時想寄存行李時，跟我們説沒有地方存放了，這麼大個酒店竟然不設定寄存的地方？希望好好整改一下人員規範還有房間設定。 This was a terrible stay experience, especially the front desk service, which was far too rigid. It’s hard to imagine that a hotel charging such a high price per night could have such inflexible front desk management. Every hotel I stayed at in Europe took good care of children under 12, but this one insisted on charging an extra person's accommodation fee. In the end, we had to forgo breakfast to offset the cost. When we wanted to store our luggage before leaving, we were told there was no space available—how could such a large hotel not have a luggage storage area? I hope the hotel will thoroughly improve its staff training and room/facility arrangements.

A beautiful first impression as we were greeted by the owners son who guided us to the veranda for a welcome drink as our bags were quickly taken to our room. He met us back outside where we were enjoying the view and asked if we had any questions about our stay. He brought some maps for us and kindly made recommendations based on our questions The room was well appointed and the view was amazing! We had a cozy deck with a view of the Matterhorn. Everyone was friendly and helpful during our stay. The breakfast buffet was amazing! The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Also the location was perfect! We could have asked for a better stay. THANK YOU!

Our main priority in finding a good hotel in Vermont was one that had a view of the Matterhorn. We researched quite a few and decided this was our best bet - if we picked the Matterhorn view room - which we did We were not disappointed! The hotel itself is in a great location within walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants just down the hill from the beautiful church whose bells ring regularly. The view out of our bedroom window was spectacular. But In addition the hotel itself is completely charming, the service is friendly warm and welcoming, It has a very nice aroma when you walk in …they told us it was the wood and there is typical Swiss woodwork everywhere. There is an attractive reception area combined with a bar area, where they serve drinks and snacks in the evening. They have a fitness room and an excellent Spa , which we used and enjoyed. They picked us up at the train station and also took us back when we left. They gave us good recommendations on places to eat . All in all our 3 night stay at the Alalin was exactly what we had hoped!

Overall nice experience and well kept hotel lobby and rooms, however spa sauna has room for improvement, specially in a health and safety aspects.

We had a fantastic time skiing in Zermatt. Hotel Allalin is ideally located, making it easy to get to the ski lifts and explore everything Zermatt has to offer. The hotel is perfectly suited for a ski trip, with comfortable rooms and everything thoughtfully arranged to make your stay easy and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and friendliness that made us feel instantly at home. The customer service is truly outstanding—every member of the team goes above and beyond to help, always with a smile and great attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious, giving us a great start before heading out to ski each morning. Hotel Allalin really stands out for its personal touch and exceptional hospitality. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zermatt for skiing. We would absolutely stay here again!
