Wonderfully cosy hotel, really friendly and helpful staff leading to a very happy and relaxed atmosphere. The food each night was delicious as was breakfast. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable with wonderful views over larch woods and mountains from the balcony.

A lovely week in this really well run family hotel. It’s small, peaceful, and convenient for two of the three ski areas in Zermatt. The rooms are very nicely fitted out and for us, the family room with extra two beds on the mezzanine was perfect for our children. The food on the half board is very good and there is plenty of choice off the a la carte if you don’t fancy what’s on offer. Finally it’s a real treat to have such a nice spa/pool area in a hotel of this grading..it’s exceptionally clean and well appointed and the kids loved mucking around and in pool after a day’s skiing, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you love Zermatt and want a change from staying in town. Ski in and ski is rare in Zermatt and a real treat!

What an outstanding experience, from start to finish even from initial communications everyone was fantastic. Staff were very friendly. Food is delightful and prices for hotel and drinks are great for Zermatt. We were there as a family for a week and our daughter has a beautiful single room in the lodge. Our room was also great on 1st floor. Everyone made us extremely welcome and we had many entertaining nights at dinner and in the bar. They have a great option for dinner where you can trade the fixed dinner for a credit against the a la carte menu which is great if you just can’t face the whole 4 courses. Wine prices were reasonable as was the eventual bar bill. We hadn’t seen a queue the whole week until we returned to the village to get the train to Täsch on our return journey and it made us doubly glad to have spent the week “in Furi far away from the maddening crowds”.

Everything was perfect! The staff is extremely nice and welcoming, beautiful hotel and venue, great food, amazing location, this is definitely one of the best places to stay in Zermatt when you enjoy ski in / ski out for the full day and for summer holidays

We have traveled extensively for skiing over the years , and this hotel comes up trumps. The warm and friendly atmosphere is carefully balanced with an impressive attention to detail, from the well-trained staff to the quality and variety of the food and the design of the hotel overall. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed there for a week in January. Great rooms. Location on the ski piste, food is very good and service is excellent. Service all day. Rooms very spacious and well equipped. Luggage collected and delivered to the hotel. Delivery of luggage at the cat park was like a Swiss clock. No exception, entire team is great.

This is a type of place you just do NOT want to leave! Everything about this hotel was just absolutely wonderful. The staff, the family who runs it, the food. Just perfect. Modern but with a rustic alpine vibe. Rooms were spacious and we had a LOT of luggage due to over two weeks of travel so it was nice not to feel cramped in a room. Bed was so comfortable and lets talk about that pool! Epic! The food in the restaurant was so amazing we never even went into Zermatt to eat, top notch fresh ingredients and the restaurant was so cozy why bother leaving. The US hotel industry should take lessons on hospitality from this hotel. Breakfast buffet was also fantastic with lots of choices. I hope one day I can come back, it was so tough to leave this little piece of paradise!

This property was really lovely! The staff do a wonderful job making their guests feel welcome. The breakfast was phenomenal as well as the spa area. The only downside to the hotel is the location if you wish to explore the town in the evening during the summer. It is walkable and manageable at night as they provide flashlights, however coming back later on uphill wouldn’t be ideal. The taxi ended up costing 100 chf in the evening hours. For that reason, I wish the spa would have been open later to have something to do at the hotel. May be something to consider if you are young and want to explore the bars/ restaurants later. This would be a great stay for a family as they have a little playground as well. Otherwise wonderful stay and very kind staff.
