Hotel Eden Wellness

We had an incredible ski vacation at Eden Wellness, a boutique hotel nestled in the picturesque collage of Zermatt. Tamara and her mother Karin made our stay truly exceptional with their personal care and attention to detail. From the spacious junior suite to the delicious breakfast and luxurious spa, every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return for another memorable experience.

Super hotel, family run, very warm welcome and looked after brilliantly for the whole holiday. very clean and tidy, up to date rooms, well designed, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, huge swimming pool, rest and sauna area. there is also a Gym. Quiet part of Zermatt within short walk of all shops and restaurants and the bus connections to the cable cars and Piste, there are no cars clogging up the town, only quiet electric vehicles. Wonderful views of the Matterhorn and old charm architecture. The skiing is of course magnificent!

Wonderful week's stay in Zermatt! The location was perfect, walking distance to ski lifts (~10 mins) and to the middle of Town (~3 mins). Rooms were lovely, clean, and we had a perfect view of the Matterhorn. Their breakfast was plentiful and the staff could not have been more friendly. Hotel shuttle to and from train station and super proactive communication made arriving and departing a breeze. Would recommend 100%!

There are a lot of good things about the hotel, central location to town; close to bus station for skiing. Renovated rooms with Matterhorn view are spacious 35sqm, beautiful views of the mountains, breakfast is sufficient. Facilities are simple , no finesse or sophisticated lobby, poor amenities, no coffee in the room ; mediocre SPA- go and get a 5 CHF token for the jakuzzi sums the feel . Location 4, service 4.5, facilities 3 ; hotel setting 3.5-4

We have stayed at the Eden for several years, and after one year at another place last year, we were very happy to be back at Eden this winter. The service is personal and extremely pleasant, cleaning staff do an excellent job and the location is good. The rooms and lobby area have been renovated over the past years with a great result. Spa area has some more years of use, but is kept 100%, so no problem. Breakfast; not too big, but everything you need and more - and top notch products. I highly recommend Eden for your next stay in Zermatt!

We've been going to Zermatt for over 30 years and have stayed in various hotels. This was our first stay in the Eden and we'll definitely be staying here in the future (if we can afford the exchange rate!). The recently renovated rooms are incredibly well designed and presented. We stayed in a deluxe double which had a seating area and balcony with an unobstructed view of the Matterhorn, and an open plan bathroom with huge bath but with clever dividers that can slide across to close it in. The rooms are warm and the beds comfortable. All the public areas and rooms are kept incredibly clean by the housekeeping team who also do a turn-down service. The spa is a little older but incredibly well featured. The pool is a great size and is never busy. The relaxation area has a glass canopy to lay under the sky. The thermal area has 2x saunas and 2x steam rooms which are at perfect temperatures and humidities. The cold shower is the coldest I've ever experienced and makes for a perfect thermal lap. The staff were all fantastic. From the driver who collected us at the station through the front desk staff, breakfast staff and housekeeping, everyone made us feel welcome and everything was beyond expectations. Breakfast isn't huge but the selection is exactly what I'd hope for in an Alpine hotel. There's something for everyone and the quality is spot on. A few elements vary each day too. The cappuccino is the best my wife has had! The hotel is a 5-6 minute walk from the church square and then onto the high street. The bus stop for skiing is a 5 minute walk and is only 2 stops from each of the lift stations. Very highly recommended!

Hotel Eden Wellness is a wonderful place to stay! We arrived around midnight and they made arrangements for us to get our room key then to check in the next morning. Also, we were only planning to stay four nights and another night somewhere else in Zermatt. The weather got a little rough and the other hotel cancelled and Eden was able to accommodate us for the extra night. The breakfast was superb! It was not our typical American breakfast, but there is plenty to fill you up. There is a taxi to get you to and from the train station. Our room was modern but still cozy and had an amazing view of the Matterhorn. Since we got in late, we couldn’t see anything in the dark. So, when we woke up to the view of the Matterhorn, it was like a dream! Lastly, the spa was the highlight of our stay! A robe, slippers, and towel are waiting in your room. We spent time by the pool, in the sauna, and the aromagrotte. We have never been more relaxed than we were during our stay at Hotel Eden. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful time!

Amazing experience. Great service. Clean comfortable rooms. Really nice amenities. Ski lockers make it really easy to have dry gloves and boots every morning without hauling gear around hotel. Wonderful European breakfast served daily. Perfect location. Quiet snd still close to all the action. 3 min walk to ski bus. Hotel to slope is less than 10 minutes.

We had such a great trip- the perfect hotel for our stay- beautiful rooms, great breakfast, fab location and the staff were so amazing- so friendly and helpful with organising activities for our trip. Made complete with the most beautiful view of the Matterhorn from our bedroom. Thank you so much!
