The room was pretty good, but I had to check in at the hotel next door. The front desk was very helpful. However, the room amenities were quite limited; there was no kettle, no microwave, and no self-service washing machine. But the front desk kindly informed me that there was a self-service laundromat in town (14 CHF).

It's small but has everything you need. The downsides are no air conditioning, and even with an elevator, you still have to carry heavy luggage up a few steps to get into the room. Also, there's no service provided after 9 PM, except for emergencies. However, our pillows were too flat, so we went to the front desk after 9 PM for help, and a kind staff member brought us extra pillows. Overall, the environment is quite good.

Decent location. Quite comfortable. 6-7 mins away from the train station. Quiet area. Nice cozy wooden place. Con: pillow was very thin and almost non-existent when lying on it. Walls are really thin and could hear the person in the next room snoring. Slight inconvenience with having the reception in the hotel next to it. No kettle or hair dryer in the room but you can ask for them from the reception.

Overall a pretty okay stay if you are not fussy. 10 minutes walk from Zermatt station, easy to access. Fret not if you are staying in the higher floors, there’s an elevator. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Path is well lit at night. Bed and toilet are clean, the floor is abit dusty but not a big issue for me :) PS, this hotel is nit allowed to use our own hair dryer due to voltage, hair dryer is provided by the hotel. No using of heating / cooking too.
