They didn't show any hesitation or displeasure; in fact, they even turned on the lights for us, creating a comfortable gathering space. This is a good new hotel located at new residential area. Hence the surrounding is nice, looks new and quiet. Albeit quite far from Taichung city centre, the hotel is accesible via TRA (Chenggong Station) after 8 minutes walking. HSR station is only one stop away. There is only one convenience store nearby (Family mart). Hotel staff can communicate in English quite well. Breakfast is good, room is very clean and nice. However there is slight discomfort as the shower room floor is sometimes flooded when in used. Overall would recommend a stay here.

It was a nice touch that hand soap was provided in the room. The room's amenities were quite basic, and the balcony felt a bit superfluous. Laundry facilities are available on the ground floor; washing is complimentary, but drying costs 30 yuan for 30 minutes. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the MRT station, which feels a bit far. On the plus side, it's conveniently located right next to a McDonald's and a 7-Eleven, which was very handy.
