We had a great stay. Good room. Laundry was done. The owner was very friendly and offered us a good deal for the park! The location is great, really close to north gate. Which is not a busy location, so no long queues. He also helped with the taxi.

The owner was very kind to a Japanese traveller. They are very kind and make your trip a good one. I highly recommend them.

The guesthouse is just a five-minute walk from the North Gate of the scenic area. The owner can help arrange sunrise viewings, and a generous breakfast is provided upon your return.

The owner has several properties, and we were assigned to the most secluded wooden building, which came with a balcony and a king-sized bed. However, the soundproofing in the wooden building was poor. I was disturbed late at night by noise from the adjacent room and could only go back to sleep after the owner intervened to resolve the issue.

The room had a lot of character. The family room I stayed in even came with a balcony. The biggest plus was definitely the host; he was incredibly reliable. He was friendly, easy to chat with, and always ready to help resolve any issues we encountered during our trip.

Initially, I hadn't noticed that the accommodation was located at the North Gate, but what seemed like a booking mistake turned out to be a happy surprise! There were absolutely no queues at the North Gate. We didn't have to wait for the cable car or the Bailong Elevator at any point during our entire visit. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful; she even took out a Zhangjiajie map and personally walked us through the best sightseeing routes. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're traveling by car. After our trip to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, on our way back, we passed a lovely little stream right outside. The kids had a fantastic time playing in the cool, refreshing water. The only minor downside is its slightly remote location, but apart from that, it's flawless.

Best place I’ve stayed in China so far ! The host were super kind and helped me every time I need it despite we don’t speak the same language. It’s the best accommodation to avoid the crowds. It’s a little bit far to get here but it will be 100% worth it because you’ll do the Zhangjiajie National Park route the other way around and you’ll be almost alone during the major part of time. They even have breakfast! You’ll never regret of choosing this place. Thank you for all and if one day I’ll return to Zhangjiajie, I’ll return here again !!

Near the North Gate, overall pretty good.

The guesthouse is conveniently located very close to the Tianzishan ticket office. Although the decor is a bit dated, it was generally clean. Complimentary breakfast is provided, and we also had dinner at the guesthouse – their mountain chicken dish was absolutely delicious. The owner was incredibly helpful, assisting us with booking discounted tickets for the Sky Garden electric shuttle and even offering luggage transfer services.

Very friendly people. Nice play to stay at Tanzi.

Very good hotel. Staff is amazing! They helped us a lot to get to the hotel from train station. Just text them on wechat.

The male boss provided excellent service. He recommended me the places to visit inside Zhangjiajie National Park given my arrival timing and also the following day. Since I was travelling solo, he provided some safety tips inside the Park and offered to make my next day's breakfast outside the breakfast time if I needed to sleep in. He would come have a small chat with me whenever I was dining alone there too. Besides the service, the location is excellent. It's just about 5min walk to Zhangjiajie National Park's North Entrance. The greatest perk of staying at the mountain top was that I largely avoided the crowd as I was in the opposite direction mostly. Within walking distance are a few restaurants, a foot bath and massage and a supermarket which was really convenient. The room I stayed in was clean except the balcony which had bugs but was understandable since it is in the mountains. The only downside for me was that there was no soundproofing at all so the occasional noise at night and the start of activity in the early morning made it hard for a light sleeper like me.
