Shanyucheng Bed and Breakfast

Close to the station which was my main goal. Shared bathroom and laundry service. In a small gated neighborhood and there’s a nice running track outside ! The video gives you instructions on how to get in as there’s no front desk

Comfortable beds and very close to the trainstation.

Its very good hotel for the price. Everyone complaining about squat toilet, but it's actually good. One shot fast. They have free washing machine. Nice view.

Hotel room clean and quite good amenity, free water hot & cold with some tea Hotel near stasiun ZhangjiajieXI need walk only 10-15 menit, you can ride taxi to tianmen 30 yuan and national park 50yuan Hotel area many local food tasty with reasonabls price and many mini mart Host very fast respon and quick action

This is not actually a hotel; it is an apartment-style stay. They do not have a front desk. When we entered the residence area, we were confused because there was no signboard or indication of a hotel. We had to take help from some local Chinese people to contact the host, and then they asked us to message them on WeChat. After that, they provided the exact floor and apartment number. The entrance felt like a back door of the building. We took the elevator and went up to their apartment, but after reaching there we had to wait around 10–15 minutes for them to arrive. Overall, it is more like a low-budget hotel. For budget-friendly travelers and for those traveling by train from Zhangjiajiexi Station, this place can be a good choice because it is located very close to the Zhangjiajiexi Railway Station. However, it is not in the city, so if you want to visit the city area, you will need to take a taxi. I recommend contacting them via WeChat before you arrive. They do not provide breakfast or canteen service. The hotel boy was friendly, polite, and very helpful, which we appreciated. Before visiting Zhangjiajie, make sure to carry a universal travel adapter, as they use thin two-pin sockets in the apartment. The room size was medium, but since we were traveling in winter, heavier blankets should have been provided. We felt quite cold during the night. Room service is available. Overall, it is a suitable option for budget travelers, especially those traveling via Zhangjiajiexi Railway Station.

Good location, within walking distance to the railway station but it was a little tricky to find the hotel.

The location is near to the Zhangjiajie West Railway Station and Bus station. Better to use pedestrian lanes, instead of the underpass if you want to cross the road/s. There are food establishment around the area and a small grocery store (Baijiafu Supermarket-百家福超市). The room is small but spacious, complete with amenities such as slippers, towels, shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, wifi, hair blower, TV, A big window. There’s no toilet bowl but a squat toilet, which was totally okay for me. If you need hot water you may get it from a water dispenser outside the room. Also there are luggages storage you can use. I was staying in building 9. I strongly suggest to contact the owner, so you would know where to enter and what building/room you will be.

The bed was absolutely horrible, it was a thin mattress on top of wood so I could barely sleep. And also, the name is deceiving, they don't serve breakfast

Personally, I suggest you do not stay here. It is affordable and close to the train station. BUT many issues. The owner would not respond to my questions & messages. There’s no details on how to get past the security gates or what floor the room is on. A woman eventually saw I was lost outside and took me to the top of this isolated strange building to meet the owner. He was kind and patient and helped me with wifi. However, the room looks NOTHING like the photos. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. The heat through the window was extreme. Within the first hour after check in, I checked out and had to leave.
