ROYGEM Hotel (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan sign gate, Zhangjiajie)

The hotel's location is excellent, less than 300m from the East Gate. The rooms are spacious, newly decorated and well-equipped, clean and hygienic, and the service is good. We even got a free room upgrade. The breakfast had everything you'd expect.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the landmark gate, making it super convenient to enter and exit the park. The hotel rooms are also very good, clean, tidy, and comfortable for sleeping. The front desk lady provided fantastic service; she was extremely patient and helpful. Plus, there's a popular internet-famous restaurant right next to the hotel. This place is definitely worth choosing!!!

During the National Day holiday, I took my mom to climb Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. To make things convenient, I specifically chose a hotel near the East Gate, and I feel this was a very smart decision. After a day of hiking, it was such a blessing to be able to walk straight back to the hotel. (Especially during holidays, getting a taxi here is incredibly difficult – you really can't find one! At night, when we went to see the 'Charming Xiangxi' show, we couldn't get a taxi for 10 minutes, so we ended up jogging and running there, almost missing the show). I have to emphasize, 'Charming Xiangxi' is truly excellent; the performance was stunning, featuring beautiful brides, traditional Xiangxi songs, acrobatics that have appeared on CCTV's Spring Festival Gala, and the spirits of the 'Corpse Drivers'. Also, for the outdoor segments, definitely wear warm clothes! I had to take off my jacket for my mom to sit on, and I, in a short-sleeved shirt, felt a bit cold. The performers showcased real skills, with acts like climbing a mountain of knives and walking through fire – literally a 'mountain of knives and sea of fire'! There was also a thousand-pound stone on the chest, and flying knives and axes, which were a bit scary. I'm talking a lot, I sound like a promoter for the show! A big warning for Zhangjiajie: absolutely, absolutely, absolutely do not provoke the monkeys! There are so many monkeys at Jinbian Stream. I was having a great time until a monkey scratched my face. The service area in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park was really good though; I got a rabies vaccination promptly. Luckily, the entrance ticket included insurance, so it was free. Downstairs from the hotel is the Suoxi Village Xiangxi Folk Cuisine restaurant. The food was good, and the hotel room card even gave us an 8.8% discount. The only downside was that there were too many people, and we waited for almost an hour. The hotel itself was very clean, and the Xiaodu smart assistant was great! The front desk staff were beautiful, and their service was particularly thoughtful and warm. The hotel breakfast had a rich variety of options, and the dishes were fresh. The room was clean and comfortable, and check-in was efficient. I was very satisfied with this stay.

Traveled with family during the National Day holiday, and both the adults and kids were very pleased. We really enjoyed experiencing the local culture. The hotel service was thoughtful, the amenities were well-rounded, and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend to everyone!

I absolutely loved this hotel! It was quiet, the environment was great, and the breakfast was plentiful (though the taste was pretty mediocre). It's a 5-minute walk from the Wulingyuan National Park entrance, and you can see the scenic area right outside. There's also a restaurant nearby (I forget the name, but it's about 20 meters away) with excellent specialty dishes. The portions were generous, the food tasted great, and the service was very friendly. Even though we sometimes couldn't understand what they were saying, we really liked the staff – they weren't pushy or tried to upsell, and the food was delicious.

The hotel is relatively new and well-equipped. It's within walking distance of the East Gate entrance (which is a huge plus after a long day of sightseeing). The breakfast is a bit better than average, offering everything you'd expect, though I felt there might not be enough seating during peak hours. We drove, and the parking was a little far. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

5-star review! I stayed for 4 nights, and the hotel was exceptional in terms of location, environment, cleanliness, and service. The location is unbeatable, just a few minutes from the iconic gate. Once you've traveled a bit, you'll appreciate how convenient it is to stay close to a scenic area's main entrance. The thoughtful details, like late-night congee, hiking poles, and detailed maps/guides, really showed how dedicated they are to service. There are tons of highly-rated restaurants nearby, so you could try a different one every day. Plus, there's a foot massage parlor downstairs – perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of hiking. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, with both Chinese and Western options. The laundry room and gym were also well-equipped and clean. Overall, everything was great. This trip was comfortable, delicious, and fun – a truly pleasant experience.

For those with a budget, go for it! This hotel has no drawbacks whatsoever. The breakfast is abundant, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. It's just a 3-minute walk to the Wulingyuan scenic area's main entrance. The rooms are new and spacious, as the hotel just opened. Plus, there's a free washing machine and dryer, which is a really nice touch.
