The location is truly a walking distance to 72 Qilou. It has an ancient era hotel vibe, mostly made of wood. It has a little garden and a lushful display of colorful flowers and plants. The lady owner at the front was was very hospitable and kind. One of the best factora of this hotel is the lift. Very convenient to the 3rd floor. My room waa in the corner so I have borh views of two sides. Very clean, spacious and my bed has a traditional aura set up. There is a little "veranda" where you can step out for fresh air and excellent view. I'm impressed with this hotel. Highly recommendable when you are in downtown Zhangjiajie.

Staying at Wuling Spring Inn was one of the best decisions of our weeks in China as our hosts really helped to make this part the most memorable (look at the pictures!). They were deeply caring, humourous, amazingly friendly - they helped to advise on activities depending on the weather each day, to buy tickets, and even checked in on us when they knew we missed the last train back. We also enjoyed joining them for rounds of mahjong. The room was also beautiful and clean, with very pretty wooden furniture, and space for laundry on the covered roof. Ask about a nearby restaurant as well, 2 mins walk away, and you'll get a wide range of home cooked local dishes. Could not have asked for more, well deserving of a perfect score.
