Yingke Shanju Homestay

Very nice place to stay! The owner helps extremely well with planning the trip! We arrived and together made a plan, he even booked the tickets for us and every morning he helped us where to go.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! From start to finish, the hospitality was outstanding. Both the owner and the kitchen staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The owner went above and beyond: he helped us with our luggage, drove us to the South Gate multiple times, and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants. The room was stunning—huge, impeccably clean with daily housekeeping, and fully stocked with all the necessary toiletries. Breakfast had a variety of local products. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, which offers breathtaking views of the Avatar Mountains. The staff even provided us with extra pool towels, which was a lovely touch.

I really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It’s located in a very peaceful environment (in the mountains), super close to the South Gate of the park. The family owners are super nice and provide a transfer service to the South Gate for free. I would like to mention that we forgot a hat at the owner’s car on the day we left and he sent it to our hotel on our next destination for free. I would recommend this stay to everyone and will choose it again if I’ll be back one day :)

It was a lovely hotel, amazing breakfast, beautiful view and nice swimming pool. But most notably was the wonderful service provided by the host, he was very keen to help and very friendly. 10/10 recommend

Location was amazing. View was so stuinning. The room looked nice and staff was very sweet, patient and helpfull. The neigbours also has a very cute dog. This room made my stay in zhangjiajie unforgettable. Thank you

The Yingke Shanju Homestay The homestay is up a long and windy mountain road, a little farther away from the main Zhangjiajie Park entrance to the east, and 30-40 minute drive from Tianmen Mountain entrance. Location is great if you're looking for a calm and scenic stay, closer to the Zhangjiajie South entrance. The staff were wonderful, responsive and helpful, and always ready with useful information about the location and popular destinations; the Chinese breakfasts were tasty and filling; and the auntie's dinner meals which you can order if you're in for the night were delicious and satisfying as well. The rooms were spotless and clean; the decor was minimal, fun and homey, and our windows had jaw-dropping views of the Zhangjiajie Mountains! On our last day we asked about eating lunch nearby and our main host led us to a wonderful family style restaurant nearby where the traditional food was fresh and plentiful. FYI, smoking culture is big in China so some places will have the odor here and there. Overall, I would come back to stay here again!

This is a family business and the host was really kind helping us with taxis for our entire stay, he even help us with the transfer off our luggage’s giving us time to enjoy visiting the surrounding. Good breakfast, but the same every day.
