Wulingyuan Hotel

The room was spacious, and the facilities were new. The service was excellent. The Chinese restaurant had fantastic food; it was delicious, generous, and reasonably priced. We also received complimentary fruit upon arrival. The hotel was very quiet, and there was ample parking. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. We stayed in building 1, which had both a washing machine and a dryer, making it perfect for both middle-aged and older guests.

Super good! It's very close to Dongmen (East Gate) on foot. The hotel environment is great and quiet, the rooms are spacious, and the staff are exceptionally friendly.

The room was very clean and soundproof. It's also very close to the East Gate of the Forest Park. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and hospitable. This hotel is a staff union hotel, offering great value for money. It also has a restaurant, which is quite reliable!

The newly renovated room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. I had a great night's sleep thanks to how quiet it was, which really helped relieve my travel fatigue. It's right next to the East Gate. Breakfast for children was an extra 25 yuan, but it wasn't good. The 'three-pot combo' I ordered for dinner also wasn't tasty... I feel like staying closer to the 'Charming Western Hunan' area near the bridge might be more convenient than being right by the East Gate, as there are more restaurants there.

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive. The room has an umbrella, a washing machine, a dryer, and a drying area. However, two dryers are not enough. We encountered rainy weather, and clothes that air-dried naturally developed an odor. Hygiene: The hygiene is good. The room was cleaned even during our continuous stay. Environment: The environment is nice, as it's a place for company retreats and stays. However, the standing air conditioner is noisy, and there are mold spots on the headboard wall. Service: The service attitude is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant breakfast was inconsistent. The first day's breakfast was very simple, while the second day's was more substantial. The location is great, just a few minutes' walk to the scenic area, and Wulingyuan Bus Station is about a ten-minute walk away.

Excellent room with exceptionally friendly staff. The room was fantastic, very spacious, and fully equipped with all amenities, which was very convenient. It's only a 5-minute walk to Dongmen, and there are many dining options right outside. Highly recommended! The breakfast was also very good and plentiful. I'll definitely be back!

If you need laundry services, you might consider booking a deluxe garden king room. These rooms are located in building 3, and only the 6th floor of building 3 has a laundry room. There are only two washing machines and two dryers, so if you plan on doing laundry, it's best to go early. The restaurant is also just outside building 3, so I think staying in building 3 is probably more convenient. Building 2 seems to be under renovation, though it's right next to building 3, so it's also quite convenient. The staff mentioned that building 3 was recently renovated, which is why it only has standalone air conditioners instead of central air conditioning. At first, I thought the standalone AC might be noisy, but after a couple of days, I got used to it and didn't notice any noise. However, because it's a carpeted hotel, I always felt the room had a slightly 'stuffy' smell when I returned, but opening the door for a minute or two to air it out fixed that. Another issue is that the hotel's Wi-Fi isn't very good. It wasn't fixed even though I checked in during a holiday period. However, the service attitude was quite good, and they offered alternative solutions. I hope their hotel's internet improves in the future.

The location is fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk from the east gate of the Forest Park. You can also walk to the bus station, which is about a ten-minute walk, to catch a direct minibus to the South Gate and the city center. The transportation is very convenient. Across the road from the hotel, there's a small river. The staff's service is excellent and very attentive. The hotel has a restaurant, but if there are about ten tables dining simultaneously, the food service can be quite slow. The taste, however, is decent.

Great location, excellent service, and well-equipped facilities. The breakfast was good too, and they even offered ginger tea in the lobby and walking sticks for borrowing, which was very convenient for exploring Zhangjiajie. We ate dinner at the hotel all three nights of our stay, and the food was delicious, affordable, and made us feel at ease. The only minor downside was that the new renovation smell in the room was still quite strong.
