Zhangjiajie Fanbowan Hotel (Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park Dayong Ancient City Branch)

I booked this hotel last minute and it turned out to be unexpectedly good! The location is incredibly convenient. You can walk to Dayong Ancient City, and there are restaurants, a supermarket, a farmers' market, and even several massage parlors nearby – super handy. It's not far to get to 72 Qilou by taxi, and the airport is only about 5km away. The room was very spacious, and the bedding was excellent. Plus, we had a partial river view, which was quite satisfying. While it might not be brand new, it's very well-maintained. We even saw a cleaner meticulously scrubbing the floor in the hallway, which gave us a great sense of security. The breakfast might not be super extensive, but it offered both Chinese and Western options, which was more than enough and prevented waste. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it!

The service was excellent, and the hotel's design was truly impressive and well-thought-out. Parking downstairs was also very convenient. The rooms were clean and tidy.

So glad I chose Vanpo Bay! As soon as I landed, the owner's wife provided a thoughtful pick-up service, and check-in was smooth. Every detail in the room was perfect – clean, simple, and stylish, just check out the pictures (^_~)! The special breakfast noodles are delicious and a must-try. If you're heading to any attractions, be sure to ask the front desk staff for recommendations; they give truly helpful advice that saves you time, effort, and money (⌒▽⌒). I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Zhangjiajie because it feels just like home! ❤❤
