Without a doubt, this was our favorite place during our three-week trip around China.
First of all, the hotel itself was beautiful. Our room was very spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything felt modern and well maintained. The bathroom was fantastic, with an electric shower and a smart toilet, and the room has plenty of natural light.
The swimming pool was incredible. One of our favorite memories was coming back to the hotel after a long day of exploring Zhangjiajie and relaxing by the pool at night. We were even able to get a swim in the night, which made the experience even more special.
The breakfast was also excellent. Everything was freshly prepared every morning, and the lady who cooked for us was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. It made us feel at home.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the hospitality we received from Tao (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly). He went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. On our first night, we arrived at the hotel very late and were hungry. He kindly drove us into the village to find somewhere to eat, and when all of the places were already closed, he even shared his own dinner with us. Throughout our stay, he was always happy to drive us to different places, answer our questions, and help us with anything we needed. He was not only incredibly helpful but also genuinely friendly and funny.
Zhangjiajie itself is breathtaking—it truly feels like a place above the clouds. But what made this destination so special for us was the warmth and kindness we experienced at this hotel. We are very grateful with all of the hotel staff.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie.
