One step to heaven keeps its promise: it' a five minute walk from the entrance to the westgate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, very close to the Village Zhonghu and managed by the best hostess we met in China. Carol made our stay extraordinary and comfortable. She recommended great tours and helped us to book tickets. The offers a small restaurant with local family made dishes, which are amazing. We especially enjoyed the Zhangjiajie Hotpot and the eggplant with beans dish!! As there are no public buses going to the hotel, Carol organized a driver to pick us up in Zhangjiajie late in the evening and also organized our way back to the station a fee days later. Thanks to Carol's English, its very easy to communicate. We loved every minute of our stay at the one step to heaven inn: from the accomadation, the distance to the National Park and especially the atmosphere at the one step to heaven inn thanks to Carol and her family.

Very well located (walking distance from the west gate of the park), prices are very reasonable. Carol speaks perfect English, is very reactive, took care of the ticket reservation, and proposed an itinerary in the park which allowed me to see everything and avoid the flow of the crowd.

Great location - 5 minutes to the west entrance of zhangjiajie park. We bought tickets from the hotel owner - she drew the whole route, she’s always in touch, she’ll always give advice. You can order food at the hotel - a varied and tasty menu. I recommend this hotel

The three of us booked there for 4 days and 3 nights. The room was very big and we stayed on the third floor. It may be in the countryside and there are only three floors, so there is no elevator. It was a bit inconvenient for me to go up and down the stairs because my legs hurt. However, the hostess of the hotel was very nice and enthusiastic. She took me to the doctor and took medicine. My leg pain improved a lot, otherwise I would not have been able to play in the Zhangjiajie scenic spot. She also taught us how to avoid the crowds because we lived within one kilometer of the west entrance of Yangjiajie. There are fewer tourists staying in Ximen, so there is no need to queue. It is more rural here, unlike South Gate and East Gate, where there are more tourists. It is more convenient. However, because there are too many tourists, the queues are also long. Fortunately, we stayed at Yunzi Yunjianrong Inn. I saved a lot of time in queuing and am very grateful to the hotel proprietress and her family for their warm hospitality🙏😊

The landlady is very enthusiastic and the food is delicious. Living at the foot of the mountain, the temperature is still very low. Fortunately, there is air conditioning. It is 300 meters away from the Forest Park ticket station. The boss was very enthusiastic about planning the route for us. He even edited the daily route into text and sent it to us in case we were lost. You can also help book tickets on your behalf. The price is cheaper than online. Breakfast and dinner are all eaten in the store. The portions are generous and the price is affordable. Highly recommended!

The room is very clean. The hygiene of the room is made by the boss himself. When you go to the scenic spots, you can ask the boss to introduce you. You will also get a hand-drawn map.
