Everything good, the hotel is 3 minutes walk from the east entrance of the national park. The whole city is by the mountains so Wulingyan is a little cold but the hotel provided the air conditioner to stay warm, everything worked fine.

I definitely won't be back. A positive point of the hotel is the location, it is very convenient, not only because Zhangjiajie Park is very close, but it is located in the middle between Tianmen Mountain and the Glass Bridge Park. Very convenient. I went with a friend and they gave us a room that we hadn't asked for, I understand that they were renovating (one day we ran out of light) and that the room was more expensive than ours, but having a bathroom and shower with glass was very inconvenient, especially because it wasn't what we asked for and we were not a couple. None of the staff spoke English and they demanded that we speak Chinese, in my case I don't speak it, but my friend does. When he wasn't there they treated me badly just because I didn't speak Chinese, you can't have a hotel where you accept foreigners and don't speak English, especially in a tourist spot like Zhangjiajie. Once I asked for water at the front desk (I don't understand why we had to ask for it everyday) and they didn't understand, the word water is basic English. The day we arrived the room was not completely clean, there were ashes in the bathroom (we had asked for a non-smoking room), the room smelled of cigarettes and there was not even a pillow. The day the light went out we couldn't close the window, so we asked for help and they replied that it was because of the light since the room was all electric; In the afternoon when we came back from the excursion (and the light was back) the situation was the same, with the excuse that it was too late they put some scotch tape on the window and said they would fix it the next day. They never did and the day we left there window it was still like that. We had to have the air conditioning on all the time because of the cold. We have to say that a lady of the staff was very nice to us and even stopped us to give us the fruit, even though there was the problem of the language barrier, she was very kind and friendly with us.

When you walk in, there is an overwhelming smell in the lobby. We checked in around 8 pm and the workers were all lounging on the chairs, with their feet up, and when we got to the desk, they were simultaneously checking us in while chatting with each other. It felt unprofessional. The room we booked was the superior queen and the hallways leading up the room reeked of cigarette. The room’s window was wide open and the entire room just reeked of cigarette. Killed a few bugs and it just felt super unclean. Location was great as it was really close to the ticketing booth, if it wasn’t for that, I would probably not book it again.

It costs 80 yuan to take a taxi from Zhangjiajie West Station, 50 yuan to take a taxi to the South Gate of Forest Park, 10 minutes to walk to the East Gate of Forest Park, and 20 minutes to walk to the bus station. Many people in the surrounding area have breakfast for 15 yuan per person. There are many restaurants for dinner. I recommend Sanxiaguo and glutinous rice wine. There is a snack street next to the hotel. Disadvantages, which is also a particularly big loophole, are that the corridor window of the room on the third floor is broken and cannot be locked, and the balcony door of the room cannot be locked, which means that my room can be entered from outside the hotel or the corridor! ! I hope the hotel will pay attention to it.

I don't know how this hotel got such a good review. The facilities are really bad. There is nothing in the room except a bigger one with a bed. Even the window can't be closed. The service staff came upstairs and told me that the decoration was not finished yet. It's okay. It doesn't matter if the third floor can't be closed. Finally, I asked to change the room. I will never go there again. It's a landmine. The price and service are totally inconsistent.

It is very convenient to visit the National Forest Park, and it is only a few hundred meters away from the Wulingyuan landmark gate. There is a food street around, with a lot of delicious food.

There is no such thing as a mountain when you open the window, and a corridor when you open the window. I can understand that your room is like this, but you can't put up fake pictures.
