EVEN Hotel CHONGLI by IHG

We got a room upgrade to the InterContinental. The service was very warm and the breakfast had a great variety. The hotel is located just outside the town, so it's very quiet and only a 5-minute drive away. A special thanks to Jane.Li at the front desk for her enthusiastic assistance with our inquiries and for helping us upgrade our room!

Overall, the hotel stay was great, and the ski facilities were very comprehensive. The sunken lobby made it very convenient to get to the parking lot. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted delicious. The view from the room window was beautiful, making for a very comfortable stay.

The hotel is quite new, but I'd like to share a few suggestions: 1. The bathroom sink is very inconvenient for kids under 1.2 meters. There are no step stools, and the sink counter is deep with the faucet set quite far back, making it a real struggle for kids to wash their faces and brush their teeth. Step stools are inexpensive, so having some on hand would be great—especially since most guests here are traveling with children. 2. The complimentary bottled water is ridiculously hard to open. Every time, I had to use a napkin and grit my teeth with all my might just to twist the cap off. Could you please switch to a different brand? It was such a hassle.

This was my first stay at the HUALUXE Chongli, an IHG hotel, during the October holiday. Booking through Ctrip was convenient. The hotel environment was clean, facilities were complete, and the underground parking was great for those driving. Check-in was efficient, and the staff member, Eileen, was very friendly and proactive in arranging breakfast. The breakfast itself offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, the experience was comfortable and hassle-free, with the attention to service details being a major plus. I recommend it to travelers who value quality and good service.

The room was great and very spacious, definitely comfortable for staying with kids. It was also spotless, and the breakfast was varied and replenished very quickly. The staff were all very warm and welcoming. Eileen, who assisted us, provided excellent service with prompt responses. Highly recommended!

My stay at the Even Hotels Chongli was a great experience. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete. The gym and swimming pool were also very convenient to use. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very easy to get to towns like Thaiwoo and Fulong. Eileen checked me in, and the communication was smooth. Overall, the service experience was top-notch. It's definitely a worthwhile choice when visiting Chongli.

Overall, a good experience, though the scenery at Thaiwoo this season was a bit disappointing. The bed was comfortable, and the cleanliness was generally good; I'm prone to skin allergies but had no issues. Plus, the breakfast was much better than the InterContinental next door! Every dish was warm, which was a fantastic experience! In contrast, the breakfast and buffet at the InterContinental were quite mediocre, which was a surprise.

I brought my two children here for the Mid-Autumn Festival. The hotel proactively asked about our needs and prepared children's toiletries for them. The soundproofing was excellent. We could go to the InterContinental's kids' club and the heated swimming pool. There's a lake nearby for walks. The hotel also offered a complimentary miniature train experience. There's a lot to do in Thaiwoo Ski Town. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything. The only minor downsides were the lack of EV charging stations and a laundry room. The charging station issue could be easily fixed, as the underground parking garage is huge. I went to Thaiwoo Ski Town to charge, but they wouldn't let me charge there. Fortunately, the Eagle Nest Hotel's underground parking in Thaiwoo Ski Town had charging, but you had to pay for parking, and there weren't many fast chargers, so the charging experience wasn't great. I hope they improve this soon. Cherish the present moment; either your body or your mind is always on the road.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The front desk service was warm and efficient, the room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. The breakfast had a rich variety and tasted delicious. The location is superb, making it easy to get around. The hotel also featured an exhibition. The attention to detail truly shows, and I will definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommend!
