Holiday Inn Express CHONGLI by IHG

This is my second time visiting Cuiyun Mountain. The shuttle bus is super convenient; it takes you directly to the hotel right after you get off the train. I really loved the room with a balcony, facing the beautiful distant views, and you can even see the bonfire at night. The front desk lady provided excellent service. Seeing that I was with a child, she thoughtfully arranged a room with two 1.35m twin beds, which was great. Many people have already posted photos of the hotel itself, so I'll share some pictures of the surroundings instead! 🤪

Excellent value for money. When we checked in, we asked if they could arrange a lake view room for us, and the front desk staff kindly did so. Opening the window to that view was incredibly therapeutic. We'd previously stayed at the Crowne Plaza behind this hotel, and while this place's facilities and breakfast are a bit weaker, it's half the price. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

The hotel is really great, quiet and comfortable. The balcony view is beautiful, and parking is convenient. They even provided free breakfast for the kids. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

The service was efficient and thoughtful. The front desk staff, noticing we had an elderly person, specifically arranged a lake-view room close to the elevator for us. The room layout was sensible and convenient, with some clever design touches. Breakfast was plentiful, but the quality could be improved. The underground parking garage was clearly signposted, but there were too few charging stations. The complimentary tickets to the Cuiyunshan Forest Scenic Area were also a nice bonus. Overall, we were very satisfied!

The room offered a fantastic view, and the interior facilities were clean and tidy. We even had a robot deliver our takeaway right outside the door! The staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast selection was excellent. I'll definitely be staying at Holiday Inn Express again on my next trip.

This was my fourth stay, and perhaps because it's summer, the price was quite high. However, the room rate no longer includes cable car tickets, tickets to Cuiyun Mountain Forest Park, or any related amusement activities. Cuiyun Mountain has become increasingly expensive over the past three years, so I no longer recommend it for value for money. The room was clean, but the facilities were basic, with no fridge or gym. Even sharing facilities with the neighboring Marriott isn't as good as it used to be.

The room was much bigger than I expected, and the town was quiet with few people. The service was also very satisfying. It's truly a great place to escape the summer heat, and it's very close to Fulong Four Seasons Town and Aranya.

This hotel poses a significant health risk. The room had a strong post-renovation smell that made me feel unwell, gave me a headache, and prevented me from sleeping. There was also a distinct smoke smell. The hygiene was very concerning; the floor, cups, and toilet counter in the room were all dirty. Many of the cups in the restaurant were also dirty, and the staff's uniforms were not clean. The breakfast quality was poor; for example, the salad was not fresh. They charged an extra deposit at check-in, which I haven't encountered in many years. The hotel is poorly maintained, with damaged areas and leaks.

The room was quite spacious, and the location was excellent, right within the Cuiyun Mountain Resort. It was well-equipped, clean, and had a balcony with fantastic views of both the mountains and the lake.
