As foreigners visiting Zhangjiakou in December for the first time for both travel and skiing, the overall experience couldn’t have been better — it was absolutely top-notch 👍. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They immediately noticed that we were traveling with children and had quite a bit of luggage, and proactively offered assistance, which made us feel very well cared for right away. The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, and the availability of late-night snacks was a wonderful bonus, especially after a long day of skiing. Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Atour to anyone visiting Zhangjiakou.

Excellent hotel with great facilities and well furnished rooms that utiliss smart technology throughout. The Trip. com reservation included buffet breakfast, which was very good. A huge variety on offer with brewed coffee. The hotel offers various services which I found especially helpful. I had some documents to sign which required printing some A4 pages from a file on a mobile device and this was no problem - the reception were able to use Bluetooth. Very convenient! The hotel has a small gym with two treadmills and bike, which I made use of. The exercise bike in particular is high quality with a strong frame and steady resistance which provides a good workout. Adjacent to the gym is a laundry with high quality fast operating washing machines and a dryer -very convenient during winter. The laundry also features a comfortable sofa and table as well as a steam cleaner/press. The room itself is modern with some state of the art lighting, a smart sensor toilet, smart TV, ss well as electric powered curtains that opened out to a large window. The king bed was supremely comfortable with the necessary bedside controls and electric sockets. The hotel can be reached by foot from the train station in about 25 minutes. Overall this hotel is one of the best I've experienced on my trip in China and it is highly recommended if staying in Zhangjiakou.

Had a great time at the hotel with amazing location and direct access to the ski park. Hotel staff is very helpful and responsive in answering our queries, shoutout to Eda who served us at the front desk and ensured that we had a pleasant stay.

The reception was very friendly and willing to help me order food. The room looked stylish and designed by professional designers The hotel has a swimming pool which I have not used though.

Nice hotel with excellent service. Buffet breakfast is good and there are many dining options available in the area. The rooms are spacious and clean. Will definitely visit again during my next trip to Chong li！

Very nice hotel, breakfast also good. Easy access to the ski track

Good: 1. Location is amazing, you can ski directly from the building entrance. 2. Warm room, central heating, large windows with nice view, overall good. 3. Locker for the ski equipment. Other: 1. NO towel, they provide disposable towels only, which is a bit weird, had to buy towels in a nearby shop. 2. Breakfast is just frozen dumplings in the freezer, if I would know before, would book a room without breakfast. 3. Need to access room through WeChat with 200rmb deposit. So tricky if you don’t speak Chinese. Overall, knowing those flaws, would prepare in advance, but its a good place to stay, would book again in future.

Great experience and very foreigner-friendly This hotel left us with a very positive impression. The overall atmosphere is warm, well-organized, and welcoming, especially for international guests. The buffet breakfast deserves special mention. For us as foreigners, it was surprisingly good and thoughtfully prepared. Since some people have dietary restrictions (忌口), it was not always easy to eat local food outside, but the hotel’s buffet offered a wide variety of options that worked perfectly for different preferences and needs. We truly appreciated the effort. The location is excellent for skiing, the surroundings are beautiful, and everything is well arranged, which makes the stay smooth and enjoyable. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for both comfort and convenience. It gave us a very good impression of skiing in China, and we would happily recommend it to other international travelers

We went to Wanlong ski resort in ChongLi for the last leg of our China trip. We chose ShuangLong out of the handful of hotels available in the WanLong ski resort based on review and price. WanLong ski resort provides feee shuttle between the resort’s hotels and Taizicheng railway station which was super convenient. Overall we had a pleasant stay for skiing purpose. The hotel is dated but the two bedroom suite provided us was comfortable. The small shared living area was sufficient but had a musty smell. The bedrooms were fine, though I’m quite sensitive and many times woke up smelling cigarette smell, I think the were cigarettes smell came from the curtains or pillow. Housekeeping also did not properly make up the rooms each day. The location was fantastic, once you have your ski gear they can be stored in the locker in the hotel tunnel with direct access to the green slope, so pretty much ski in and ski out, but the main resort is located at Dragon Palace hotel where ski gear and lift rental are. The hotel breakfast was probably the best we had in all my China travels, fruit and stir fry vegetables were fresh and well cooked , they even had sashimi tuna.
