The courtyard is quiet and secluded, and it's super convenient to explore the ancient city from here. The butler was incredibly efficient; check-in was a breeze, and they responded instantly to all our questions, even offering thoughtful recommendations for local spots. The room was clean and comfortable, making our whole stay effortless. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Zhangzhou.

They were both very patient and helpful with all our questions. The traditional Fujian-style courtyard is quiet and comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean. Being right on the old street made it super convenient for exploring and trying out local food. We had a relaxing and comfortable stay, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time we're in Zhangzhou!

While planning my trip to Zhangzhou Ancient City, I immediately chose this hotel, and my overall stay experience was excellent. It was raining intermittently that day, so I contacted the hotel beforehand. Upon arriving at the ancient city's parking lot, a shuttle golf cart picked me up and took me directly to the hotel for check-in. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout the check-in process. The room was very clean and had a pleasant tea scent. It also featured a Tmall Genie smart assistant. For food recommendations, I suggest checking out 'Fucheng Ah Hui Mianxianhu' on Qingnian Road for their signature oyster omelet. The Ginger Duck is a must-try dish! Prices within the ancient city are slightly higher. As for the 'Siguotang' (four-fruit soup) and 'Machi' (mochi), I personally found them just average. The ancient city has a wonderful evening ambiance with beautiful lighting, so definitely go out for a stroll at night!

My stay here exceeded all expectations! The front desk staff, both the gentlemen and ladies, were incredibly kind and gentle. They enthusiastically shared tips on local attractions and routes, and were always available to help whenever needed. The traditional house environment was serene and remarkably clean. The location is absolutely perfect, making it super convenient to access food, drinks, and entertainment. The service was truly heartwarming. I genuinely recommend it to anyone planning a visit.

The hotel is located right in the old town, but it's super convenient, with Zhongshan Park right outside the door. They upgraded me to a private hot spring room, which was so relaxing – I could soak in the hot spring right in the courtyard. The hotel architecture is beautiful, and you can go up to the rooftop for some amazing views. It's lively yet peaceful at the same time.

This was the most expensive and worst service I've experienced among the four B&Bs in Zhangzhou… I’m not nitpicking, but at this price point, the service attitude really needs to match, and it wasn't just a small flaw, the entire service was a disaster. 1. The homepage advertised a pick-up and drop-off service, but when I called the day before, I was told they only pick up from a nearby parking lot??? So why advertise it then? 2. Although all the complimentary services were listed on the homepage, the front desk didn't proactively inform me about them. Isn't good service about thoughtfully telling customers all their options? Do I need to actively inquire when I'm tired and busy as a tourist? 3. The front desk staff lacked initiative; with all my luggage, they didn't even offer to help carry anything. 4. Both Quanzhou and Zhangzhou seem to have this problem: most hotels and B&Bs have projectors installed right above the bed. This is a huge safety hazard, and I didn't dare sleep with my head under the projector a single night. 5. The projector and screen compatibility was poor, and I couldn't find anywhere to adjust the screen size. All the hotel's amenities were just for show, nothing more to say. (Here’s a picture of service from another B&B – they don't advertise any services on their homepage, but *that’s* what I call service.)

The hotel's location is excellent, situated right in the heart of the ancient city. As soon as you step out, you're on the old streets and alleys, with all sorts of Minnan specialty foods and popular photo spots close by. It was incredibly convenient to explore with a wheelchair. While it was lively and bustling outside, the courtyard was serene and quiet. It's an authentic Minnan ancient house courtyard style, with an elegant and clean environment. The greenery was meticulously maintained, making for a beautiful and healing landscape. What touched me the most was the hotel's thoughtful consideration for guests with mobility challenges. The accessibility features were very well-implemented. The courtyard pathways were flat and smooth, with no steep inclines, making it effortless to push a wheelchair in and out. The corridors were wide and open, allowing for easy and stable passage. When the front desk staff saw us with our elderly parents in a wheelchair, they immediately came over to offer assistance. They were enthusiastic and meticulous throughout, with a warm and polite attitude. During check-in, they prioritized a low-floor room on the first floor for us, avoiding stairs and complex routes, which greatly facilitated the seniors' movement. The room was spacious and airy, spotlessly clean, with soft and clean bedding. The mattress was neither too soft nor too firm, making it exceptionally comfortable for my parents to rest. My family all said they slept very well. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the floor was anti-slip, with every detail considering the safety of the elderly. The hotel's service was so meticulous it was heartwarming. Knowing my parents had difficulty walking, the staff proactively slowed down their speech, patiently asked about their physical condition, and repeatedly reminded them to be careful on the stone paths in the courtyard. Throughout our stay, any request we had was met with immediate and quick responses. They were very enthusiastic about helping deliver items and assisting my parents. When we returned from outings, they would always proactively offer warm tea, asking if my parents were tired from their journey. Their sincerity and genuineness were truly commendable. After a tiring day of sightseeing, the hotel's natural hot spring, with its comfortable and gentle water temperature, was a great relief. Soaking our feet after returning helped us relax significantly. The breakfast selection was rich yet light, catering to my parents' dietary preferences. The ingredients were fresh and healthy. When the staff heard we had high blood sugar, they specially prepared low-sugar meals for us. From the service details, their warmth was evident in every aspect. I initially thought traveling with elderly parents in a wheelchair would be problematic, but thanks to the comprehensive facilities and warm service at Xiyue Hotel, our entire experience was beautiful, clean, with human-centered facilities and warm, attentive service. Every aspect was impeccable, and it offered excellent value for money.

The room came with an outdoor hot tub, was clean, and had a modern design. However, the parking lot is located on the edge of the scenic area, and I suggest the platform notify guests of this in advance.

The staff were warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and they even offered helpful local tips for sightseeing, making us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. It's a peaceful haven amidst the bustle, allowing you to experience the lively atmosphere of the ancient city while also enjoying quiet moments. Highly recommended!
