The B&B is located quite high up, so if you're driving, you'll need to book a parking spot in advance. However, the butler handled everything perfectly. The hotel's elevated position in the town means the views are stunning at any time of day. The service was impeccable, the room was clean and tidy, and we even received complimentary drinks and snacks daily. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a souvenir gift when we checked out.

After a week-long trip in Guizhou, Jiangshanji was by far my favorite guesthouse. What surprised me most was how its quality and standardized management almost rivaled that of a brand-name hotel 🏨. The details that particularly impressed me were the slippers 🩴, which were on par with JW Marriott's quality. Also, placing a packet of laundry detergent in the bathroom for guests to wash their delicates was a very thoughtful touch. While welcome fruit, a minibar, a coffee machine, and a Dyson hairdryer are common in many guesthouses, the laundry room featuring a full set of Casarte appliances clearly shows the owner's commitment to quality. The guesthouse is beautiful and picture-perfect, and the breakfast is delicious—it's almost impossible to find fault with anything. Finally, I have to commend the guesthouse's service. The housekeeper reminded guests that there were complimentary drinks available on the terrace at night, perfect for enjoying Zhenyuan's night view. Additionally, after our clothes were done in the self-service laundry room, the housekeeper proactively notified us and even asked if we needed help with drying and delivery, which was incredibly considerate 🥹. 🅿️ The guesthouse also has a partnered parking lot, making it convenient for those driving. Every time we entered or left the guesthouse, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth. The service details were absolutely impeccable. If I ever come back to Zhenyuan, Jiangshanji will definitely be my first choice. 💗💗💗

I rarely leave reviews, but numerous small dissatisfactions eventually made for a very uncomfortable stay. I stayed at this hotel for two nights. It was 300-400 yuan more expensive than nearby options, but it didn't deliver the service or value to match the price. 1. On the day of check-in, when I pulled back the bed throw, there were hairs on it. 2. I understand that disposable toothbrushes are often low quality, but one that sheds so much it fills your mouth with bristles after brushing is truly rare! 3. The hand towel left fibers all over my hands after use. It's uncommon to find towels that shed so much these days! 4. The soundproofing is terrible. The sliding door to the room's balcony is purely decorative. Being not far from the railway, the roaring sound of passing trains started at 7 AM and continued non-stop until 11 PM! 5. It's baffling that the toiletries provided were different on both days. I'm not even talking about brand quality; they couldn't even maintain a standardized, consistent supply of disposable products! 6. Breakfast was indescribable—a complete mess. The rice noodles were undercooked, and there was no variety. The coffee machine was out of water, with the water container just sitting there, while staff were outside playing on their phones. 7. Throughout my stay, the guesthouse staff's attitude was lackadaisical, revealing disorganization in the hotel's management. In summary, the entire experience was unpleasant. The hotel's price doesn't match the overall service. I strongly suspect all the positive reviews are fake! Oh, and the welcome fruit upon check-in was rotten oranges! Please don't bother next time!

The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious, and the balcony offered beautiful views of both sides of the Wuyang River. The 'butlers' (staff) were all handsome young men, and when I asked for water, it was brought to me promptly. They also offered complimentary homemade bayberry juice and iced brewed wine for tasting. If I get the chance to visit Zhenyuan Ancient Town again, I would definitely book this hotel. Very satisfied!

Nestled in the ancient city, this hotel is an elegant and tranquil retreat, with stunning views of the old town right from the terrace. Upon arrival, we were treated to a lovely afternoon tea and a fruit platter. The staff were proactive in helping with our luggage, making it an excellent choice for our trip.

The room view was amazing, and the service was excellent – they were always ready to help. The only minor downside for me was the dim lighting in the room; I personally prefer brighter rooms. However, this didn't affect the overall experience.

This was the most satisfying hotel during my trip to Guizhou. The view was absolutely amazing, offering a panoramic sight of the entire ancient town. Every staff member was dedicated and enthusiastic, and the facilities were excellent. You can tell they put a lot of effort into running this place. I hope they continue to thrive! I'd definitely consider staying here again next time!
