Shanshanli RiverView Design Residence (Zhenyuan Ancient City New Bridge Store)

The room looks exactly like the pictures – it's well-equipped, spacious, and quiet, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. They even provide disposable towels and toilet seat covers. It's all smart-controlled, and super close to the bridge for amazing night views. The sour soup fish recommended by the owner was absolutely delicious! 😋

Our stay at this hotel in Zhenjiang Ancient Town, Guizhou, was absolutely fantastic – a definite five-star experience! Tucked away in the ancient town's winding alleys, its traditional Chinese architecture, with blue tiles and wooden windows, blends perfectly with the town's centuries-old charm. We could see the serene green river water flowing right outside our window. The room was clean and elegant, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were thoughtfully designed, showing attention to every detail. The staff were warm and attentive, guiding us to the hotel beforehand and even recommending local attractions and food. The breakfast offered authentic Guizhou specialties. In the slow pace of the ancient town, this hotel truly gave us a sense of belonging. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Zhenjiang Ancient Town!

The location is a bit far, making it impossible to take a Didi (ride-hailing service) to get there. You also can't choose the type of taxi; you have to drag your luggage along the uneven, rocky road yourself. The accommodation itself is nice, clean, and hygienic.

The room was clean and tidy, and the receptionists were very friendly. I booked a river-view room, which had a small platform with a panoramic view of the river! The room was quite spacious and even had a bathtub, which was nice!

Not recommended. To be honest, I booked in a bit of a rush. Compared to other places, the price-performance ratio is really not high. I booked a river view room, but there was no view from the first floor at all. I don't know if your river view rooms were full, but the one assigned to me was really hard to describe. The other two rooms were just okay. Also, the shower temperature wasn't constant; it was sometimes scalding hot and sometimes ice cold. If you're not in good health, you might catch a cold. The towels were disposable, which saved costs, but the experience was extremely poor. It felt like staying in an 80-yuan hotel. The room and front desk service were average, but the location was very mediocre. It was quite a distance from the old street. Finally, free parking for accommodation is normal; I would have paid for it myself anyway. Using that to ask for a good review is a bit ridiculous.
